great to stay, easy and fuss free and near the station so you don’t need to walk too much in the heat or cold

The location of the hotel is very convenient and it’s walking distance to the Old Tokyo area. Nice walk in the early morning. The size of the room is considerably big for Tokyo. Plus the indoor onsen is nice and new.

Bed is very comfortable and room temperature can change ourself.

Very good location. Close to the Nippori station station. Hotel is very strict with the check-in / out time. I love breakfast and public bath here. Clean & safe. I would come back here again.

Stay in Nippori area for the first time, and Almont Hotel is one of the best there. If you arrive/depart from Narita, this is more efficient. Front desk staff helps to reserve seating at one of the most desirable restaurants in Uguisudani, which is just one sta away and can be reached by walking as well. There is also a very good tantanmen in the Nippori area. Both are amazing discoveries. Hotel looks and feels newish, room is OK and if just larger, would be perfect. Onsen in the hotel is also a nice touch for weary travelers. There are also good public sentos in the area, perfect for those arriving in Japan from Narita, and then have to continue by train/bus to next destinations. Breakfast definitely is quite a spread and it seems the hotel is proud of it. I like the tempura and also the dessert.

Almont Hotel Nippori is a quaint, modern and great hotel for couples and families. We stayed at Almont for 4 nights in July 2024. Our room was located on the 4th floor. While it was 1 level above the onsen, the room was soundproof and cleaned everyday. Complimentary breakfast was served at the hotel's resident restaurant with a wide variety of Japanese, western and international cuisine. While there was a wide variety, the items did not change much - making it boring after eating 2-3 times. Front desk is warm and always welcoming, and it's facilities, clean, new and always smelled great! The onsen is clean and well kept, making it a great addition to our stay. The hotel is located a 8 min walk from Nippori JR station and 15 min walk from Nishi Nippori Metrol station. Not a long distance! The hotel's surrounding neighborhood is quiet at night and not as noisy as neighboring Ueno. I'll definitely be back on my next stay in Tokyo!

We enjoyed our stay! This was our third time staying here and will continue to stay here in the future. We were checked in by Gwen and greeted at breakfast by Gwen as well. She was so very kind to us and really made us feel welcomed. Please send our appreciation to Gwen. The hotel WiFi was a bit slow and frequently stopped working. But besides this, everything was great!
