A little far from ikebukuro main station but it’s a nice quiet hotel with Chinese breakfast. Staff seemed a bit cold in general, they are most likely sick of foreigners which is a no no for hospitality, especially in Japan.

This hotel is great if u like onsen. We like to use the onsen every night after an exhausting day walking. Then enjoy a free ramen or ice cream. There’s free small simple ramen each night on the 2nd floor, free coffee, at the lobby, yakult & ice cream (15th fl) ( during specific time slot’s) We never used our room shower cos it’s tiny. We go to the public bathroom where u wash up sitting on a stool, then enjoy the Onsen & Sauna. Free drinks available at a drink machine in the sauna, also toiletries like shampoo & such. At the ladies washroom u can choose from a selection of shampoo & conditioner. But u can’t use the onsen if u have a tattoo. On the 15th floor, washing machine available for free, u gotta pay to use the dryer, but is quite cheap, we used about 300 yen to dry a full load of clothing. There’s also free manga, & a smoking area. U get pick up extra towels at the reception, also stuffs like toothbrush, razor etc. Hotel is within walking distance to many kombini’s, supermarkets ( I recommend Seiyu) & Sunshine City. Room is quite small though, but we had no trouble with 2 large suitcases. I like it that u can open the window to get fresh air, & it’s not far from the Ikebukuro station where all the shopping, food & actions are! I love going to the food street at Loft & Parco. Tobu is also amazing with lot’s of food & the biggest Daiso in Tokyo. We used the airport limousine bus to travel to & from Narita. Bus stop is at Sunshine City Prince hotel, ( 5 mins walk all flat terrain). I would suggest the hotel make extra space by hanging up certain things, like the hair dryer, television. The walls are very empty, there can be more hooks, planks available for guests to place their stuffs or hand up a bag or jacket. I also have a slight complain about the water kettle in our room. It won’t stop automatically when at boiling point, we asked the reception to change it, she said the cleaning lady will. But we found out the next day the kettle is still the same! We gave up cos sometimes communication in English isn’t totally ok with some staffs & just manually switch the kettle off every time it boils. But all in all just some minor bugs, we did enjoyed our week-long stay here & will certainly consider coming back!

We arrived on July 3 at 9:00 p.m. and found that parking needed to be booked in advance, as there is very limited availability. A young boy at the counter claimed the person in charge was not very helpful, and our first impression was poor. Additionally, parking at this hotel is quite expensive (5,000 yen per day), and there was no support upon our arrival. The onsen was great, and the room was clean during our stay. However, room service did not provide a new cup, so we had to clean it ourselves. There were ice cream and a variety of drinks available after using the onsen, as well as free noodles at night (though the reception did not inform us about this during check-in). Overall, I think the hotel is good, but the front staff and support require further training; they need to be more supportive to customers.

Good location with shopping areas and number of eateries within walking distance. About 15 minutes walk from Ikebukuro JR station. Good facilities in the hotel. Hotel serves soba free of charge from 9.30 pm to 11 pm every night.

Dormy Inn Ikebukuro Natural Hot Spring exceeded my expectations in every way! From the moment I checked in, I felt welcomed by the warm and professional staff, who made the entire stay seamless. The highlight of the hotel is undoubtedly the natural hot spring onsen—a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring Tokyo. The soothing waters helped relieve any travel fatigue, and the facility was impeccably clean. If you're looking for a relaxing, well-located stay with great amenities, Dormy Inn Ikebukuro Natural Hot Spring is a fantastic choice. I’d definitely come back for another visit!

It’s too far away from station. The room is a bit smaller than I expected. But it’s typical Dormy Inn style. The onsen operating hours were perfect for tourist like me. But it’s really too inconvenient if I want to travel by subway or JR.

Very nice hotel. Only few minutes walk away from sunshine city shopping mall which has everything I want. Amazing onset full of ppl. Will come again! 

A truly nice and convenient place to stay with, just - few minutes walk to Morioka Station, the staff are also professional enough, can well communicate in English.

Everything is good. However they forgot to change the towel with us when they cleaned our room!

First time here. Room is spacious too to take 2 large size luggage. So far had good experience in Dormy Inn

Absolutely adored my stay at the dormy inn! It really is worth paying that little bit extra to enjoy all the comfort of an onsen from the comfort of your hotel. The complimentary ice cream just outside the onsen was the cherry on top. There were also communal washing machines and dryers which I was able to make use of during my stay.

The room is a little bit small and not friendly to open a suitcase inside. However, the facilities are excellent. The hot spring, free dessert, free laundry and inexpensive drying service are impressive. There are many comics books in the laundry area too. I highly recommend this place.
