Villa vuorenpää

120 km northwest of Helsinki, so-called 'dry land cottage', Lake Kuivajärvi 2 km (length of 8 km, a width of 2 km), own boat there. Many sandy bottom public beaches within 5-10 km in Tammela and 8 km in the Folk Park of Saari.

Boarded up log building 1920, kitchen, living room with sofa bed (160x200 cm), bedroom with double bed (140x200 cm), bedroom with 1 bed (80x200 cm) and 2 beds (á 80x180 cm), sauna, bathroom. Crib for a baby on request. Maximum amount of pets is 3.

For summer use only a sleeping hut with electric light and beds for two. The place is a small farm style setting that includes a main building, a stone barn, log barn and many of the old wooden buildings. Idyllic, spacious yard with old bushes, Midsummer roses, berry bushes, a huge apple tree, as well as other old big trees. Peaceful location in a natural setting beside a high hill, which opens a wide field and forest landscape. Well water safe to drink, but when it rains the color may turn yellowish. Private road to the neighbour with little traffic passes beside the yard. WiFi available on request.

In vicinity (within 5 km) there are several lakes, for example lakes Oksjärvi, Pyhäjärvi, Suujärvi, Kaukjärvi and Pehkijärvi, but the nearest one (2 km) is beautiful lake Kuivajärvi. It's long, narrow and quite shallow lake with plety of fish and birds to watch.

High-quality farm meat and organic product store 4 km. Horseriding 1,5 - 7 km. In Forssa Vesihelmi swimming hall 15 km. Torronsuo National Park 20 km, Liesjärvi National Park 26 km and Folk Park of Saari 8 km (more information about national parks can be found in internet www.nationalparks.fi).
