Absolutely loved it! 10/10!! From the hotel design and customer service to the room quality, everything was perfect! This hotel is great for people who like to social. They regularly host events at The Social (see photos). We booked the room with a King sized bed. The room was much more spacious than we thought. There was even a balcony! The Japanese-style bathtub was amazing too. And since the hotel just opened last year, everything is relatively new. The little things that count: - Over 10 sockets with built in adapter - Room can be 99% dark - Really comfortable slippers - Consistent water temperature for the showers - Strong hair dryer - A large variety of amenities - Well-maintained gym While I love the mood and vibe of the room, it might not be suitable for people who need to work as the lighting might not be sufficient. Once again, I don't guarantee that you will have the same experience but I will definitely come back and highly recommend it to everyone! Bonus: The restaurant (Texas Roadhouse) on the G/F has great service and quality food too! But since there are limited breakfast choices, I wouldn't recommend you get it every day if you're staying for long.

Service is excellent. I was greeted by Cantonese in the reception and front desk agent introduce me the facilities and services. The hotel is newly built and the atmosphere is chill. there are quite a lot of LD (large cds) in the reception desk and along the floor corridor, you will love it if you like Cantonese pop especially the 80s, 90s. We stayed in a corner king in the 15th floor. The room is clean and the amenities are great, there is a facial mask. You can see tower 101 from the window. Negative is, we found hair on the flooring.

This is our 2nd stay with Episode Daan and it wouldn't be our last. We first booked the hotel for its attractive price point and Taipei 101 views but beyond this, the hotel exudes a stylish feel with plenty of personalised touches. We appreciate the stylish energy and vibes of its lobby and the retro-modern yet cosy wood tones of its rooms. Not to mention the extra warm guest services team, who display a genuine desire to provide us with the best hospitality, including taking any minor feedback seriously the first time round and making us feel welcomed as returning guests, complete with a personal thank you note from their chief officer, welcome treats and a luxurious room with city view sunken bath to enjoy in the winter. While it may not have a pool and our stays are too short to peruse the gym, other extras that put Episode top in our Taipei stay list: 5-min walk from Zhaongxiao Fuxing Blue Line Exit 2 SOGO, a great coffee place and steakhouse at ground floor, Family Marts nearby, Zhongxiao Dunhua and Taipei 101 shopping stops away. If you are a foodie, Daan is also an amazing restaurant neighbourhood. In short, you can't go wrong with Episode Daan Taipei. Hope to be back again soon next year.

This hotel has a very chillax feel. It is located right next to a police station so u will definitely feel safe here. Reception was located at level 5 of this building and you’re greeted with attentive staff once you come out from the lift lobby area. This reception area is also serves like a mini lounge as visitors can sit back and listen to the live band during weekends. They provide free flow of pop corn, chips, chocolate and canned drinks too. The rooms are very clean and new. It is the first hotel I have been to that provides facial sheet masks for guests. Such a thoughtful gesture. Nestled between Daan and ZhongXiaoFuXing stations, there are plenty of F&B options around. There is also a very nice steakhouse on level 1 which is reasonably priced. I will definitely stay here again in future.

Great perky hotel that caters mainly to younger clientele. Location is about 10 minutes walk to nearest subway station. Nice restaurant Texas Roadhouse at ground level

Strange Hotel. There is a Police Station on the Ground Floor. The Rooms are Big. The Bath Tub is on the Balcony facing the Street and the Opposite Building, which leaves a strange feeling when you are using it.

Modern hotel with all the commercial buildings and restaurants in local areas.

Service is good. Checking in and out is a breeze. Bed is good. Room cleanliness should improve. Bathroom lighting have to improve. Too dim. Although I love the balcony, but the idea of having bath area separated from toilet and placed beside balcony is not convenient and practical. 😂😂

This is my go to place in Taipei! I can hardly find any fault with the hotel other than wishing the location is just next to or above the train station. Even with that the location at Zhongxiao Fuxing is so central, you can go to anywhere with the train or by bus. It’s about 5 mins walk to the hotel from the train station. The lobby is at Level 5 which was lovely and turns into a mini bar lounge at night. There is a snack bar with drinks at the lobby that is open to guests. You can also leave a review for some of the hotel goodies. The room was huge with a toilet and shower. There are two sinks. Like how the toilet and shower are separated. For the shower there is a tub area which is so comfortable after a day of visiting and walking. I like the music player which is so vintage too. TV is huge with a lot of channels. The bed is huge and comfortable. This is really the place to go in Taipei. You can see the view of 101 when walking to the hotel from the metro. There is also many family marts around. The hotel is actually next to a police station.

This is the new brand of Hyatt Hotel group in Taipei. First imoression: similar to Moxy, Citizen M focuses on social and fun with a touch of old fashion-CD Player and old music (nice & used to be popular). Room: good size with a cute wooden box CD player. The room has 2 bottles of 'sustainable glass bottle water', 1 energy powder, capsule coffee, and 2 tea bags. Toiletries were normal standard, and the cute part is eye mask, pillow mist, wooden massage board, ear plugs & and mask. F&B: they have one bar, which was a well-known bar from Taichung. I had a cocktail with a blend of tea. Way too sweet... It's not my ideal.. 5:30-6:30 pm Cocktail time offered free red and white wine, beer, and other soft drinks. I think the brand of white wine and red wine are pretty bad. I only used them for cooking, not drinkable... I honestly think if you gonna offer at least not a common brand of cooking wine that downgrade their chic standard. Breakfast was offered by ground floor restaurant, American style. I didn't choose it due to lack of time. The location is great, about 5 minutes from METRO station. There are only 4 stops from Taipei station. For this price, I think it's higher than other hotels. I would think 2 main reasons: 1st, it's a new one, 2nd good location and brand. But may not be value for money type of Hotel. One funny thing: after comparing with hyatt member price, OTA is cheaper, which is very common. But, I consumed beverages I could not accumulate my spending in my membership points, which I don't see the point.

It was an exceptionally comfortable stay in a fantastic location, with the MRT station conveniently nearby. It’s very easy to reach the shopping district on Zhongxiao East Road, and there are plenty of great restaurants and bars in the area. Definitely worth visiting again.
