This property is in the heart of downtown Swindon. A Salvation Army shares the building so there were always people hangin out in front. Never felt unsafe, just a bit seedy. Great location in the heart of downtown. Easy to walk to shopping and restaurants. Room was clean and did the job. Can't really complain for the price.

Well folks, the carpet was about every colour apart from what is should be! It was disgusting. Stained beyond belief!! As an added bonus we were treated to our own "Police, Camera, Action" live edition when a Police incident "occurred" in the hotel lobby!

Lovely comfortable bed and pillows and a very clean room. Would recommend Travelodge to anyone as i have stayed many times and have never had a problem. However it was a shame that the window did not have net curtains so therefore i had to keep the main curtains closed and then keep the lights on in the room ,

Budget friendly and super friendly staff want to big up Avril and Jamie, who went the golden mile in customer service! The rooms are what you expect with a travelodge and the food is sub average the only positive is the friendly staff and the willingness of the team to make your stay good.

Visited on Thursday 13th March 2025 for 1 night. We arrived around 10:55 which was only 5 minutes before the recommended car park opposite the hotel closed for new cars. The walk from that car park to the hotel entrance is quite convoluted and at night less than enjoyable. The hotel reception is manned 24 hours a day but after a certain time of night, the front door is locked and requires a receptionist to let you in. Once in the welcome was fine, and we could see a rudimentary bar and vending machine. Once in the room, it was a standard Travelodge room i.e. a plainer version of what you get in a Premier Inn. We paid the basic approx £20 for 2 adult breakfasts and in the morning this was provided on-site next to the previously listed bar. Not a massive choice of options but what was available was fresh and plentiful. Once my car park ticket was validated at reception I was able to pay for parking back at the multistory car park opposite the hotel with a £3 discount from the hotel's ticket validation. Overall standard Travelodge with good customer service and a convenient location.

Hotel spotlessly clean and the team are welcoming, friendly and professional. They do all they can to make you comfortable and confident in the hotel. Me and my brother always choose this hotel. Parking is cheap across the road and a bar in the hotel but plenty of others in walking distance. Special mention for Lauren who is a star and has the patience of an angel. Thank you for everything all of you

Booked as a base for Cheltenham races, rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast absolutely delicious and no complaints. Lauren was exceptionally helpful and friendly and had great banter. Maria was so positive and smiley and they are a credit to the hotel.
