Spend your days at the #1 beach in the US or explore all there is to do in Siesta Key Village, Sarasota, St. Armand’s Circle, Lido key and Longboat Key.Beach chairs are provided for our guests at the beach - Umbrellas, beach towels, beach wagon and cooler are in the unit. The community has a pool, shuffleboard and a Laundromat (located on ground floor). High speed internet, cable TV and smart TVs in all of the rooms. There is a charcoal grill located out front of the bldg, as well as common area table/umbrella space for hanging out. Full kitchen including a dishwasher and microwave for those nights you want to stay in, Keurig, as well as drip coffee makers (byo Kcups), and sheets and bath towels will be provided to our guests. There are 2 bedrooms, the first with a king bed, and the second with a queen and single bed.There is parking in front of the unit, but you can get around the Key using the Free Trolley system that runs from from 9:00 a.m til 10:00 p.m every 15 minutes. There are other free methods of transportation too that you can contact for pick-up (tips appreciated). And of course, Uber is always an option. This is a great space for anyone who does not like to navigate a lot of stairs (there are just a few at the beach entrance) or elevators and would prefer to walk directly to the beach in just a couple of minutes. In terms of location and proximity to the beach, this property is an absolute gem!A friendly note before you book: Casa Mar has a wonderful private beach entrance, but Siesta Key is a wide beach so the first part of the walk to the water includes about 30 meters of deep, soft sand. If you have knee, foot, balance, or mobility issues, this may be difficult to manage. We want every guest to have a comfortable stay, so we recommend considering this carefully before booking.Our studio has a very comfortable queen bed as well as a queen sofa bed that pulls out to accommodate an optional 3rd guest.Our kitchen is fully stocked with essentials for those who would like to cook their own meals. If you fly into Tampa, then it could get more expensive to Uber since it is a good distance away (1.5 hours away).Getting Around Siesta Key:When you get to Siesta Key, there are multiple options to travel from Casa Mar (our condo complex) to the other areas of Siesta Key.There is a free trolley that comes every 20 minutes and it stops at the SCAT bus station right in front of Casa Mar. This trolley will take to you both North and South Villages (that have shops and restaurants and are about 1-2 miles away).The following shuttles are also available.
