We had a perfect stay! We enjoyed most the Pool and the familiar feeling and comfort. Only the Air Condition and TV had problems and did not work properly.

An excellent tasting in very pretty surroundings! The wines were great and the cheese platter amazing. The staff were also great and very attentive and we had a long and interesting discussion with the winemaker. Wayne, it was great to meet you abd L'Avenir will definitely be added to our list for future visits!

L'avenir is ideally located to visit other wine farms around Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. The wine farm and lodg are in a beautiful setting, our room was comfortable and spacious, and the staff were fantastic. A perfect end to our tour of the Western Cape, would definitely stay here again!

We booked 2 nights at L'Avenir and loved every moment of our stay! We could not fault a single thing :) A wonderful team from the front desk to the tasting room, the waiters and people behind the scenes at the actual distillery and housekeeping, we were always met with a smile, a quick chat and great service! Clearly a well run property with passionate people that make this place special :) Thank you for everything, we will certainly be back.

We had a lovely one night stay at L’Avenir, and enjoyed the beautiful grounds. We booked a double for ourselves and twin for our teenage boys and the lodge helpfully had us in adjacent rooms. The complimentary wine tasting was a lovely touch and the staff were incredibly helpful on all our requests, also accommodating an early breakfast the Saturday morning to help us get to the airport promptly.

A really beautiful experience, from our accommodation, to the wine tasting, the Boule, the pool, the stunning views of the lakes and vineyards, and the most amazing people who work there. We stayed in the Honeymoon suite, which had everything we needed on the inside. Our private outside area had a splash pool, an outdoor shower, and a quaint secret sitting area, just beyond the boundary wall. We had a most amazing evening. Breakfast was fantastic. We sat outside overlooking the pool and one of the lakes/dams below. All in all, an experience to remember

We had a most lovely stay at L’Avenir in Stellenbosch. Room was nice, surroundings beautiful and a very helpful and friendly staff. We’ve got all the help we needed to find our way in town and surroundings.

Elmarie and her team/colleagues were brilliant. Super friendly and very helpful. I great example of what South African hospitality can be. Thank you to everyone for looking after me so well. If in the Stellenbosch area and you are looking for a convenient, comfortable, professional place to stay, look no further than L'Avenir Country Lodge. The breakfast and lunch was also great and overdelivered for a business stay.

Stopped for wine tasting and platters - our host, Dine left a remarkable impression with her knowledge of not only the wines, but also the surrounding area and its offerings - this in all likelihood one of our best wine tasting experiences, because of Dine - the staff in general are of the friendliest ever experience - the platters were impressive, and we will certainly return - well done Dine.
