This carriage house, recently brought back to life after many years of neglect, sits next to our home, Craven House. It truly is the best location in Beaufort, surrounded by stately mansions and rich history, allowing one to walk to restaurants, shops, museums and the waterfront park by the marina. It is an easy drive to Paris Island, the Sands beach in Port Royal and Hunting beach on the ocean.Linens, including beach towels, are included. Q’s Chicken BBQ Shack offers a more casual dining experience. The Fillin’ Station, a quirky local watering hole has an outside deck overlooking Factory Creek offering a casual menu. The Whitehall Public Boat landing is two blocks away, where you can arrange fish charters and kayak rental tours to explore the Beaufort River and picturesque Factory Creek. There is also a generous public fishing pier adjacent to the boat landing...we have it all right here!
