Our island is meant to be explored!Occasionally the island electric company WAPA will have an issue with their service and you may experience an unexpeceted power outage; sometimes this is island-wide and sometimes it only affects certain areas, but it has nothing to do with the resort or our villa, so unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this. Should this happen, you'll also temporarily lose running water (which also means no toilet flushing), but there should be bottles of water under the bathroom sink to pour in the tank if needed. Should you experience a power outage, the restaurants on Point Pleasant have independant generators and so does the lobby so they will be open, but its a perfect opportunity to unplug and go to the beach or explore different places on the island.
