This gated complex with on-site management is the perfect place to relax around the pool or to just lounge on your private lanai or elevated deck overlooking our beautiful beach. It is remodeled inside and out with new furniture and king beds. There are security cameras for your safety located in the common areas on the property, including the pool. The location is ideal because it is on the opposite side of Great Bay from the bustling Philipsburg Cruise Port, so you can enjoy the wonderful views of the cruise ships' comings and goings without the crowds! There are as many as six cruise ships in port at one time, and watching them is a favorite past-time of just about everyone who stays at our complex.There are endless activities available in St. Maarten/St. Martin and the surrounding islands if you are interested in something other than vegging out on our gorgeous beach or beachside pool and patio.Recently remodeled: Tastefully decorated with new beds and bedding (600 thread count silky sheets!), sleeper sofa, and living room furniture. All 3 bathrooms were remodeled, with the 2 private upstairs bedroom baths each having new showers and rain shower heads with handheld shower wands. A new viewing deck is available through patio doors from the ocean side bedroom, which overlooks the beach, ocean, and cruise ship dock. The kitchen was remodeled, including a new stove, full-sized microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, plenty of cabinet space, and tile. It is fully stocked with dinnerware, cooking supplies, spices, a blender, a coffee pot, a toaster, and bar accessories. There are even little drink umbrellas waiting just for you!Short walk to everything: There is a local convenience store a half block away for last-minute necessities. Your favorite restaurants, shops, piers, and people watching are just a short 5-10 minute walk down the beach or boardwalk. This is one of the best locations on the island as you can have peace and quiet when you want it or walk just a few minutes to all the shopping, restaurants, and beach activity your heart would ever desire. On the ground floor: terrace on the beach with wooden floor, a partially shaded lanai to enjoy meals and drinks in front of the ocean and a small side garden with hot water outdoor shower (it's the only villa of the complex so featured) and a gas barbecue; inside there's a spacious living room with sofas and armchairs, flat 52" Smart Tv with HBO. A comfortable queen sofa bed adds 2 sleeping places. Two steps lead to the dining area with a big round table and four chairs. Finally a brand new kitchen fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, a big fridge with ice maker, microwave, coffee machine and blender. Just around the corner are two small grocery stores for convenience shopping and they will carry your purchases to your villa. There are many supermarkets to choose from if you choose to dine at home, but St. Maarten is the gourmet capital of the Caribbean, with 245 restaurants to choose from, ranging from the totally casual to top-of-the-line gourmet dining.There are 2 ATM's within walking distance from the Villas, 770 meters or 1/2 mile, that accept most credit and debit cards. Cash is dispensed in US Dollars or Guilders on the Dutch side and Euros or US Dollars on the French side. A tip... Notify your bank that you will be using your credit/debit card in Dutch St. Maarten/French St. Martin before you leave home.
