I had an amazing stay here! The location is outside of the ancient town but tucked away in a quiet street which I found very peaceful. The owner offered us to have tea and was very kind and friendly. When we arrived, they even sent us a list of recommended places to eat on wechat. Not many places do this and I appreciated the local recommendation for beef hotpot and other local finds! The breakfast was interesting, it was a meal at a nearby food store. This whole experience was very local and i loved it. The room was spacious and very cozy. They also had disposable towels which they replaced daily, but maybe it is a personal preference, I would much prefer a normal towel for better absorbancy. Regardless this homestay was still such a good experience. The rooftop is excellent for relaxing, and they even offer free tea in the room. Definitely what I needed after a long day of walking around to rest and relax. Lastly, i hesitated to book this because i thought it would be better to book something in the ancient city, but the experience was so good, i have no regrets! Definitely will book here again, the homestay owners are the best hosts!
