Blue View Villas

We heard about the Blue View Villas from friends in Canada and are very grateful for the recommendation. Eva and her Mum are wonderful hosts, the maid is a perfectionist (we’re not, so we loved the extra care!), and the accommodations were wonderful. This location made a perfect home base while we made day trips, touring various villages along the coast and inland. We could not recommend it more highly.

This place is absolutely amazing. The owner Eva makes you really feel like a friend of the family rather than a guest. Her home is very welcoming, clean and comfortable with close distance to the small beach town with cute restaurants and an amazing atmosphere. Any time I would choose this place instead of a fancy five star hotel. Would love to come back sometime in the future.

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights recently in August. The Villa is beautiful and well equipped. There is air conditioning in the bedroom and living room. We were welcomed by Eva who gave us a map and nice places to visit which was wonderful because she grew up in the area. She also brought us delicious traditional snacks (light dinner) on the first night and a beautiful breakfast full of traditional foods made by her mom. And the last night of our stay she brought is traditional sweet treats as well. Very special! The view from the villa is breathtaking and I woke up early to watch the sunrise most mornings. The only downside is the very steep hill to get up to the villa. We thought we could walk it but unless you are super fit it’s too steep so we ended up getting a taxi (from outside Maria’s Golden Beach restaurant) at the end of each day. I strongly recommend hiring a car if possible. Highly recommend this beautiful villa. Thank you Eva for making our stay so wonderful.

This could not have been a better place to spend our 7 nights away - the accommodation was perfect - stylish, all comforts, very clean- the views were amazing- sea and mountains - it was so peaceful but walking distance to the sea and tavernas. It is at the quieter end of the bay so authentic and not too touristy. Our host was outstanding - and could not have been kinder or more helpful - she contacted us before we even flew to assure our greeting and check in; a wonderful totally unexpected Greek supper was provided late in the eve on arrival plus breakfast the next morning courtesy of her Mum; and chats about places to visit. So hospitable!

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour au Blue view villas! Merci à Eva et sa maman pour l’accueil chaleureux, les délicieuses attentions à saveur crétoise et les excellentes suggestions touristiques ! Merci aussi à la femme de ménage pour la propreté des lieux et la gentillesse ! Les villas offrent une belle tranquillité et une magnifique vue sur la mer! Nous recommandons chaudement ! p.s. nous étions heureux d’avoir loué une voiture pour visiter la Crète à partir de cet hébergement.

Località facilmente raggiungibile dall'aeroporto di Eraklion. Posto su di una collina, permette di godere di una vista spettacolare su tutta la baia. La proprietaria, Eva, è super gentile e disponibile. Ci ha offerto un aperitivo di benvenuto buonissimo composto da cibi tipici greci e cretesi, oltre alla colazione la prima mattinata di soggiorno. Inoltre è stata molto gentile a spiegarci alcuni luoghi da visitare e alcuni locali del posto dove poter andare a mangiare. Gli appartamenti sono veramente graziosi, spaziosi, moderni, molto puliti (la pulizia avviene tutti i giorni in ogni caso), dotati di ogni confort possibile (wifi, tv, climatizzatore). In conclusione, molto consigliato!
