We had a great time. Owners are wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Hennie took us for an evening drive to find hippos. We got some amazing pictures. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great. If we find ourselves back in St Lucia we will definitely return to elephant coast.

It really is the best, from the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome. Rooms a stunning. Breakfast is wow. Location is right on the edge of the Park so the hippos often play in the gardens. Wow

We had an incredible time at Elephant Coast Guest House with Ciska and her team in beautiful St. Lucia. The rooms were lovely with eye for detail, and their hospitality was top-notch. The stunning garden, visited by leopards and hippos, was a highlight. Highly recommended for a relaxing and unique getaway! I wished we stayed longer.

We had a fantastic stay in St. Lucia, particularly at the wonderful Elephant Coast Guest House. Josselyn is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and offers great tips for restaurants and activities. You can easily spend 4 days here. Breakfast is served by lovely ladies. And the large garden and amazing swimming pool are definite highlights.

Great room overviewing the garden, comfortable bed, friendly young manager and owners, good and complete breakfast. All trips and activities can be booked in the guesthouse. All in all a great stay in St Lucia, which remains my favority place to vissit in South Africa.

We were warmly welcomed and everything, what we asked for, was fantastic organized, a boat trip into the hippo herds as well as a day trip into the wetlands. They care for everything: because of not having breakfast when we started the tour into the wetlands very early, we got some snacks and something to drink for taking it with us. It´s very helpful that you get a complet list of every excursion, which is possible in this area and the friendly owners can arrange everything for you. You can fully rely on their recommendation. The lovely accomodation immediately transports you to the South African wildlife. Funny monkeys were jumping around and bushboks appeared in the garden. The breakfast service was very attentive. We all loved this place and with our next overseas visitors we definitly will be back!

We felt very welcome. Owners and manager are Dutch and it was nice to be welcomed in your own language after one week of English and African language. We had a beautiful room with a balcony. Private parking. There were a few things different from all the other accomodations that made our stay even more comfortable; the manager told us everything about St. Lucia, she advised where to go, where to eat and showed us the (self guided) tours to be made. Tours could also be booked on site. This personal advice and knowing that there is someone who wants to think along made it more easy to relax. In the room everything was provided for, such as an adapter, a pair of scissors, towels for the pool and lots of space in the bathroom where to put your things. The entire lodge, garden, terrace is tastefully decorated to the smallest details. We were lucky to see the hippo’s crossing the street in St. Lucia.

Stayed a week here, lovely hosts Cisca and Albert help you to have the best time. The rooms are spacious and very clean (we had a poolside room) The gardens are lovely and the small outdoor pool is just perfect and clean. The addition of little monkeys running round the garden and if you are very lucky Hippos may also pay a visit! St Lucia is lovely with lots to do, plentiful and very reasonably priced restaurants, wetlands and attractions to visit and lovely wide sandy beaches. Its sub tropical so can be humid but its very pretty.

My wife and I stayed at this place during our honey moon. Both Albert and Ciska gave us a warm welcome, the team paid some additional attention to our honey moon trip and were available for questions we had during our three night stay. Lastly, the room and guest itself are clean and good looking.
