Perfect. The host Susan is really lovely. The view from the property is amazing. Great amenities in the space - we had a full kitchen in our unit. The deck is a great space (we saw a lot of otters playing out in the ocean), and access to a barbecue is another plus. Super quiet area. So happy we stayed here and would book again!

My wife and I stayed six nights in the Star Trek Suite. The room is somewhat mislabeled- no references to the TV show but lots of stars, galaxies and nebulae. But just outside the door- the view! I can go on and on about the views (from about 300 ft up) to the south and west of Vancouver Island, San Juan Island and the Olympic Peninsula. Gorgeous. And so much fun watching ships and barges heading north and south. And birds! Bald eagles, ospreys, ravens, tanagers....The deer are quite tame and come to visit for apples. Susan was an excellent host- very responsive to our needs and ready with advice. Pender Island itself was a treat. Daily hikes and exploration. Very friendly people. We visited the cemetery- lots of headstones with names that matched the peaks we hiked. And we loved Sea Star Winery. Overall, couldn't have asked for a better summer trip.
