It is a last-minute booking for layover. Basically, you get what you paid for. But despite star rating (I.e. 2 star), I do think basic cleanliness should be achieved. The strange, stale smell in the room with windows impossible to open, the dirty pillow covers and bedsheets (most likely the pillow itself) and the sweaty stale smell of the bed. Dusty desk and phone. Loud noise of the aircon which does not work and only to produce more humidity and stuffiness. The best feature is the water from the shower which does not belong to the hotel of course. Biggest joke: toothbrush sets are provided, but the toothpaste comes with no caps and it obviously indicates how to open it by turning the cap upside down and use the pin to pierce through the plastic. Bad quality product from China and both packs are the same. Does someone even bother to check? I don’t understand why there are many very positive reviews esp about cleanliness.
