Avoid this place at all times. The capsules are filthy, you can see hair and dark grime in the doors rails, I found a bunch of rubbish stuck on the ceiling and the hotel girl became upset instead of helpful. The walls of the capsules have stains everywhere .The toilets/showers are minuscule, dirty and wet all the time, because are together in the same small area, only two of them per floor. There are no rules for quietness and at 3 am it was noisy. No helpful desk front service. The extras they offer? Never given.This place is so overrated, you will be ending paying more than you pay in Japan or Korea for similar accommodation but getting shockingly low standards in everything.

All good. But :
1.The cabins is very old and ac/dc doesn't work. Also very noisy conditioner.
2. Verry noisy until 01:00 AM!!!!! Cause on the 1st floor is KARAOKE BAR !!!!!

Galaxy Pods Chinatown is absolutely the best ! 👍👍
I have stayed here several times and I'm glad that the service from the staff is still superb, check in was quick and my expectations for a nice, quiet lower bunk were met.
This time, I was given a nice cosy capsule in the corner on the 2nd floor.
I like that every floor has a mini pantry area with complimentary water (from the water cooler), coffee, black tea and even green tea and also a sitting area to enjoy these beverages.
Thank you for making my stay so delightful 😁 again !

Love how central the location is - easily get to the hostel in 3 mins by Exit F, MRT Chinatown. Endless food choices with 3 food centres within 600m radius! The only downside is perhaps the single capsule is quite old, so the swing door is creaky and quite a challenge to open or lock up the capsule. TV doesn't seem connected to power but then again I didn't ask for assistance. Otherwise it's a great stay for the price paid.

Strategic location, about 5minutes walking distance to mrt station. Easy to get food as there are lots of chinese restaurants in the same street. Soundproof isn't that good due to couple of bars in the ground floors blasting music at night but operating till 2am so it's still fine. Afterall managed to get a good sleep throughout the night.

Very accessible to metro and food restaurant. Very comfy to sleep and has 2 pillow provided. They have heater, hair blower and you can make your own coffee drink. The receptionist is very kind.
ps. you need to bring ur slippers and make sure to lower down ur voice at night since others is already sleeping.

This is my third time staying in these Galaxy Pods in Chinatown. It's my favourite place to stay while in Singapore, because of the convenient location near downtown. All major attractions are within walking distance and there's so many restaurants to choose from in Chinatown. The reception is open 24/7, they always respond promptly to my messages and we could store our luggage at reception as well. They also give a personal locker for valuables. Overall, a great place to stay for a great price.

The place is a bit old and can use a maintenance work, but overall it was great. Right in the heart of China town. If there had been a fridge, it would have been perfect. However, it was still a nice place to stay in. Each room had a big mirror in them which was a plus. The water dispenser provides cold and hot water :) Your locker is big enough to put a carry-on luggage too.
