I love this place. Highly recommended. The place is 5 mins walk from the Shangrila Old town. It located near to the main road and it easy to take Didi. It also located 3 minutes walk to halal restaurant. The owner of this guesthouse is a very helpful family. There are very resourceful and always give info and suggestion about the place. The owner communicated with me via wechat and really welcomed us there. He offered me a free pick up from Shangrila Railway Station and upgraded our room. We were so happy the room is very big amd cozy , it was so cold at night but there were an electric heater blanket. They also offered unlimited flow of bottle water. The owner’s wife also helped us to choose a pick up and drop off location for our Didi. Overall it was the best hotel i ever stayed in Shangrila Yunnan. 5 stars hospitality.

The owner so kind. Free pickup and drop off to the railway station. Also he bring us to the Halal restaurant. The room type we choose is spacious and has bed heater and also oxygen. Location is great near dukezong ancient town within 5 min walk. Very statisfied with the services

Super Helpful Staff & Owner: Super friendly team! They picked us up from the train station and carried all our heavy luggage right to our room. Super helpful service that made us feel welcome immediately! Big, Comfy & Affordable Room: The room was spacious, clean and very cozy – amazing value for money! Super worth it for the price, especially good for families or long stays. Great Location in Dukezong Town: Located right in the center of Dukezong Ancient Town, super convenient! Just a short walk away from a halal hotpot restaurant (few shops away) and other local eateries. Perfect spot to explore Shangri-La! Always Ready to Help (Even with Translation!): Even with language differences, the staff was super responsive on WeChat and helped with all our questions using translation. Made everything so much easier! Final Verdict: An awesome homestay with super kind service, great location and big comfy rooms. The room is very beautiful, spacious and clean. The location is also good, it is inside the ancient town. For muslim, this place is near to a few halal restaurants, hence very convenient. But what made us feel so happy is the service. All the people who own this homestay are very kind and nice. They pick us up from the train station for free, help us to rent a scooter, lent us jackets and umbrella. The staff are very welcoming and heartwarming, always asking if we need any help. They even help to provide a small room for us to pray after checking out. Very considerate people 🥰 Recommended to stay. I would love to stay there again if I ever come to Shangri-la in the future.

Highly recommended. Right in the heart of the old town, this homestay was really convenient for our short time in Shangri-la in terms of food options and didi pick ups. We absolutely loved the view from our room. Service was also amazing. We were worried about altitude sickness, but the owner assured us that we could message him at any time if we were unwell and he would arrange for the oxygen supply in our room. The lady boss also gave us tips for our visits to the monastery and very kindly got us a ride to the airport at the end of our trip. If there was one thing to complain about, it would get that the bed was too firm for our liking. But it wasn't a big deal for just two nights.

The owner and staff are all nice, accommodating and very helpful. They offer us a free transport from and to the airport. They also send us to the bus station for free! The room was spacious, heated floors and bed. It was very clean as well. We had a good view of the park. 5 star overall

THE HOSTS WERE SUCH GEMS !!! They picked me up from the main road with all my heavy luggages. Recommended me where to go. Helped me with bookings. Everyone was very helpful. They even helped me to buy a luggage from ******* and got it delivered right to my doorstep within 40minutes. Extremely grateful to all of them for making my stay in Shangri-la an unforgettable one. Room was very spacious, clean, heated with floor heating. I asked for extra heater as Shangri-la gets colder at night. Location was perfect. Middle of the ancient town. Walking distance to the prayer wheel. 20 minutes to Songzanlin Monastery by Didi. Will definitely come back to this hotel.

The location is superb! Very near to the ancient town, took only 1 minute to walk. The host is VERY NICE, VERY HELPFUL! Love the room, love the host. My baby likes it, my husband and I fell in love with it. PERFECT STAY IN SHANGRI-LA. You wont regret at all.

Homestay is good location. Room size is big and comfortable. We have the living area and bedding area. Bedding is comfortable. They provide floor heat and electric blanket.  Water pressure is good and stable. Basin is a bit far from toilet but I know they try to use multi-function. Everyday we have a long walk when we come back to the room, we feel so relaxed. The owner is good caring.

Service was great. The owners are helpful and the location is very near the temple + the ancient town square.  The heated floor gets rlly hot (which I love). There’s also oxygen supply which is really helpful (owner will teach you how to use it).  Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.

The room is clean with a cozy, minimal design and fully equipped with all necessary amenities. It features automatic toilets, floor and bed heating, and even lends extremely warm jackets. The hotel also offers one complimentary service round. We had an amazing stay at Shangri-La Banxia Time Homestay, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shangri-La, Yunnan. From the moment we booked, the host was extremely responsive, keeping in touch with us for three weeks before our trip. They provided useful tips, such as bringing heavy clothes due to the cold and snow, which helped us a lot in preparing for our visit. One of the best things about this homestay was the hospitality. The host picked us up and dropped us off at the train station for free of charge, making our arrival and departure hassle-free. They also went the extra mile by lending us winter jackets at no cost, which was a thoughtful gesture. Additionally, they arranged a driver for us to visit the places we wanted to explore, making our trip smooth and enjoyable. The homestay itself was fantastic—spacious, exactly as shown in the pictures, and equipped with complete amenities. It truly felt like a home away from home. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the hot blankets and oxygen supply, which were essential due to Shangri-La’s high altitude. The homestay also had a modern design while being located in the heart of the ancient town, offering easy access to everything. Beyond the comfortable stay, the host’s kindness and guidance made our experience even better. They recommended great places to visit and local restaurants to try, ensuring we had a memorable trip. Overall, we had a perfect stay, and we would definitely choose this homestay again in the future. Thank you Dai Lingli and husband. 🥰❤️
