Glacier Hotel Khon Kaen

So far Thailand's transit system has been great, efficient, and cheap. A train fare from Khon Kaen to Udon Thani was only 25 bahts, which is less than one USD, versus the alternative taxi ride that will set you back 37 USD for an approximate two hour ride. The train was clean and modern looking, have bench style cushion seats, windows that can be open so fresh breeze circulate the car preventing passengers from overheating. The rail cars have restrooms so don't worry about emergency urges. If you forgot to bring along a bottle of water or beverages, there will be someone constantly walking by in the center aisle selling drinks and snacks at a cheap price. Since this train ride was my first one, I'm content with the experience and recommend others to try it out for themselves while traversing through Thailand. Have a wonderful travels... Nice Place to relax

The hotel is fine but almost everything in the room is too old (the bedding, the towel, the furnitures etc.). Actually the hotel design is great but maybe after covid the hotel is not fully operated so well. I wont go back again.

Evegrything was good: location, friendly staff, breakfast, spacious room. But the room - 3009 - needs serious rennovation: furniture shabby, sink in the bathroom looks dirty, no shower curtain in the bathtub and the bathroom is flooded when you take a shower, not enough electric outlets in the room. Everything in the room was good some twenty years ago, but now it looks shabby and outdated.
