Jeg kommer nok ikke til at bo her igen. Hotellets lobby er under ombygning og meget rodet. Værelset er også mere end ti år gammelt. Selvom beliggenheden er god, synes jeg stadig ikke, at det er prisen værd.

Oplevelsen var meget dårlig, bookede tre værelser, og da værelset kom ind, lugtede det, selvom jeg skiftede værelse, men det lugtede stadig. Lige mødt af personalet, klokken 9 begyndte meget støjende, lærte ikke en god nats søvn, kommer ikke igen.

Very good location and clean hotel. Especially front desk staff very attentive and caring to our needs.

All good 👌 Breakfast was both Chinese style and European; little gym with treadmill, row machines, a little selections of weights - small but enough for two people. Staff at the desk was amazingly helpful and kind and accommodated us to the best of their abilities. Good value for the price.

This could be one of the best designer-like hotel I’ve stayed in Shanghai, despite the main lobby being closed for refurbishing, the staff were really friendly and informative. The room was clean and not to mention the smart panel! It’s really convenient without having to look for the remote control and touching the switch, all you had to do was to get the ai assistant to do it for you! And also, its location is very strategic with metro nearby and all the classics Shanghai cuisine. I’m looking forward for my next stay when the lobby is completed.

The hotel is very central within 5 min. walk to the riverwalk and the Bind. The metro station Yuyuan garden is in front of. The rooms are new snd modern and the hotel is very clean. The girls at the reception are very friendly and sweet, always ready go help. Just a suggestion, by check in they should escort the guests in the room and explain s bit. I would go back at any time.

Enjoyed our stay in the hotel for a family of 3. The reception staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room is big to put 3 luggage. Located just beside Yuyuan and walking distance to the Bund.

I would not recommend this hotel. For the same price, there are better options available near Nanjing East Road. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, including the reception area and rooms on the second and third floors. Unfortunately, we were only informed about this upon check-in, which was too late to cancel our reservation—despite Trip.com allowing cancellations up to the day before. Had the hotel notified us earlier, we could have made alternative arrangements. The renovation work starts as early as 6 a.m., and the noise from hammering and drilling can be heard even on the fifth floor. The hotel’s only response was to provide earplugs, which is hardly a solution. Additionally, only one elevator is operational for the entire building. Temporary partitions have been set up around it, creating a narrow, poorly ventilated passageway. As a result, strong odors—particularly from food stalls below—fill the lobby area, making it quite unpleasant. I contacted Trip.com to request a partial refund due to the noise and overall unpleasant experience. The agent was understanding, but informed me that the hotel refused to offer any compensation, citing the non-refundable nature of the booking. This response felt unfair, as the reservation was only non-refundable until check-in. Had the hotel made any effort to notify guests in advance about the renovations, I would have been eligible for a full refund. Additionally, the soundproofing in the rooms is very poor. We could clearly hear children running along the hallways, doors being slammed late at night, and even conversations from rooms across the corridor—all of which made it hard to rest. Lastly, the hotel lacks a proper entrance or sloped access to the pick-up point. Guests have to wait by the roadside and carry their luggage down a small flight of stairs, which is inconvenient, especially for those with heavy bags or mobility concerns. The only advantage of this hotel is its close proximity to Yu Yuan (豫园), which is located just behind it. Aside from that, you can easily find much better hotels at the same price point.

Perfect location, very convenient and walking distance to train station. Lots of restaurants nearby with nice food. Very friendly service from the hotel reception and it's a pleasant stay and experience in Shanghai.

In general I don’t like to write negative reviews, as I believe that there are many things that can go wrong in life, but I have to say that staying in this hotel was pure craziness. Upon arrival, the clerk told us hotel has some construction and that the noise would be from 8am to 7pm. We were annoyed by the fact that nobody told us about that, and the clerk lied how they tried to contact us, alas, our phone number is international. That is simply not true, as we have been living in China since 2017 and my phone number on trip.com is a Chinese number. I don’t even own an international phone number. We were really angry about the fact that he lied and told him that it was unprofessional, after which he continued to insist that they couldn’t contact us because we booked through the third party (again not true, because I have been contacted by multiple hotels in the past). They put us in a room, after saying that they would cut the payment in half because of this inconvenience. 5 minutes after that, a manager of the hotel calls me (how did she get the number, I wonder….?!) and tells me that our room is too small and that they will put us in a bigger room. I obviously agree, but after that she demands 5 stars review! After everything that happened! The noise was terrible, and there was even construction outside of the hotel in the middle of the night. So no rest at all! Their solution was to give us the earplugs!!! I can’t even explain how annoying this was. If there is a construction that affects someone’s stay, it has to be communicated. In general the location is good and the place is clean. Everything else is just terrible and unprofessional. And of course they didn’t cut the payment in half.

The hotel is near to metro and Yuyuan about 5 mins walk. The hotel is very clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. Will recommend friends and families to stay in this hotel.

The location was good , 3 mins walk to Yu garden , many eatery downstair and near to the bund ! Service was superb , the service team was very attentive , keep checking if we was please !
