Very friendly and helpful staff , I had some issues connecting to my VPN on my laptop, but they managed to help me resolve it. The supper selection is a little limited, but it works if you're just looking for a small bite. Room was clean and comfortable. Overall, a pleasant experience! (: I ordered food delivery and was pleasantly surprised when a cute little robot brought it to my room!

Check-in found tv remote control without battery. Asked from reception for battery they do not have. Left the tv remote control with the cover opened on the table for 2 mornings and was nothing was done to it.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was disappointing. One unexpected detail was that you need to pay extra just to get a room with windows, which felt misleading. As is generally the case in China, the staff didn’t speak English — which we understand — but beyond the language barrier, the service was slow and not very helpful when it came to solving basic issues. The name of the hotel can also be confusing, especially for international travelers. There are several Mercure hotels in the area, and if you’re not paying close attention, it’s easy to end up at the wrong one. The worst part of our stay was breakfast. The overall quality was poor, and to make matters worse, I bit into a piece of glass that was in the cereal. The hotel’s reaction was far from satisfactory — they offered a small discount on the room, but the way they handled the situation and communicated with us left a lot to be desired.
