Finca Son Arnau

Elegant and luxe but not terribly expensive, congenial and helpful on site owners, delicious full breakfast included with dinners also available, comfy beds, nice linens, gorgeous pool. Located on edge of Selva village, dramatic vistas, convenient to charming villages, markets, beaches, hiking, etc. Simply idyllic! Hope to return someday soon.

A wonderful stay! Alex and Susan are the most charming hosts -- nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully prepared; the bed extremely comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring and close to great restaurants. We loved it!

The Finca Son Arnau is situated in the beautiful village of Selva, in the Tramuntana mountains, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The hotel has beautiful grounds and is a haven of peace. There is an infinity pool and a garden with a view over the valley to the mountains. The rooms are large and comfortable. Very good mattresses and pillows, and lots of storage. The breakfast, made to order, is extensive and varied. Susan and Alex go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome and have created a perfect and homely oasis. We will be back!

The most what we would like to say has already been said by the other travellers. That is why it has took a bit time before we write this review. We liked the place. The buliding is old outside but modern inside. Very nice combination with teaste. It is deffenetly not a chain hotel but very personal, as Susan and Alex are not only managing / co-ordinating everything but also operating it. It was very easy to see that they both were very commited to the place and their guests / customers. The breakfast is a-la-carte with service to the table (no buffet). There were several menus to choose from. What ever menu one chose, it was all fresh prepared in the kitchen. All of them were healthy and good start for the day. We deffently recomend this place.

We had an excellent stay at Finca Son Arnau. The hotel is beautifully decorated and there are large communal areas and beautiful grounds. We were unfortunate with the weather which meant we did not get to use the pool during our short stay but the weather was perfect for hiking and we enjoyed the walk to the monastery at Lluc. Alex and Susan are the perfect hosts and so welcoming. Selva is a lovely part of the island and we enjoyed a wonderful meal at Selvatge ( as recommended by Alex.) We definitely want to return, hopefully for longer next time.

Efficient and prompt pre-visit communications, and hassle free restaurant and taxi bookings. We arrived to a warm, friendly welcome from Alex. We were checked in quickly and given a tour of the modern charming finca and grounds before being escorted to our room. We were immediately struck by the views, silence, no traffic, just bells on the sheep. We loved the tranquillity and the rustic surroundings. Our room (no7) was more spacious than anticipated, fresh, bright, and good air conditioning. Great hairdryer and mirror with sockets nearby. An abundance of coat hangers, plenty of storage space, and nice toiletries. There were great views from all parts of the finca. Delicious fresh food was served at breakfast and dinner, which was so good we dined in twice during our stay. The honesty bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. Two minor points worthy of our host' consideration. 1. Great iron, perhaps a more portable version should be easily available. 2. More umbrellas on the sun terrace to give sun protection. Alex, Susan, and the team are hard-working and have created a special place to stay. They are all about making your stay as flexible as you want and as stress free as it can be, and they have ticked all of the boxes. Great hosts, thank you for a lovely stay.
