What an amazing gem we found. We were 3 couples traveling to Europe with a couple of days in Rome. Stefano was a fantastic host! We each had a nice room with full bathroom & mini fridge. We had breakfast each morning in the Common Room & wine each night up on the rooftop terrace. From the terrace you can see the entire city…Breathtaking! It’s located in the Trastevere neighborhood which houses the absolute best dining in Rome, and reasonably priced as well. It was great being outside of the more touristy areas yet close enough to walk. Stefano was also kind enough to arrange our transportation from the airport & to the cruise port. We cannot wait to go back for another visit!

I am very late in writing this review. I cannot recommend this lovely bed and breakfast highly enough. It is situated in an old, family-owned palazzo in a lovely, very quiet part of Trastevere, far from the hustle and bustle of central Rome. Still, there are several areas within walking distance or a short taxi ride away where you will find great restaurants. And if you like walking as I do, you can get yourself into downtown Rome, Pantheon, Vatican, Forum, etc., within 30-40 minutes. The B&B itself is decorated beautifully, with many original paintings by the owner's mother, an accomplished artist. The rooms are large, with spacious and clean bathrooms and wonderful views. And a full and delicious breakfast can be enjoyed in a lovely parlor room with fascinating artifacts, sculptures, and artwork. Best of all, the host, Stefano, is an absolutely wonderful person who goes out of his way to help guests in any way he can. I would return in a heartbeat and hope to soon.

Dreamy, intimate family-run hotel. Highlights: - The hospitality is unmatched. Stefano and Fabrizio go out of their ways to make our stay memorable. Thanks for booking me drivers when I needed them and making recommendations for Orvieto! - Incredible views from the terrace and also just down the road at an overlook - Clean rooms - always a plus - interesting , countless objects to admire in the house from art to history including their own little piece of the Roman Empire. Amazing! The furniture in the rooms omg - easily accessible on what’s app for questions and correspondence - never waited more than 3 min for a taxi Worth noting: - breakfast is delicious! But served in a box, don’t let this deter you. Includes beautiful pastries and fruit. - with a beautiful view comes a good deal of hill-walking to and from trastevere. I personally loved that but it may not be for everyone.

We continue to congratulate ourselves on selecting such a wonderful, friendly place to stay for our four nights in Rome. We love the Trastevere neighborhood, and our hosts, Stefano and Fabrizio couldn't have been more kind and helpful to us. We feel we now have new friends in Rome! These brothers know what they are doing! The views from the outdoor roof, from the windows, from the surrounding neighborhood was beautiful. Talk about a panoramic view of Rome from the roof - oh, and don't forget to bring your bottle of wine or limoncello to sit while you admire the view and pinch yourself for choosing such an amazing place. I booked this place because it had large rooms, in Travestere, and had an authentic charm, and I received what I was wishing for. When I started to read reviews, I noticed many were from 1 review reviewers and I got worried that I wouldn't be all that I expected. Well, I was wrong. This Guest House was excellent! We were in Rome for 4 nights, in the heat wave. Asthmatic Canadian that I am, this was very difficult for me. I was very happy that our room had very good functionning AC. It also affected our visiting plans, so we spent a lot of time at the House. The House itself is a family heirloom full of memories for its owners. It has a large common room, and equally large rooftop. We were very grateful to be able to use both as some evenings, we were too tired and hot to go back out again and ordered in our supper to enjoy at the House. It is very stately, and decorated with the owners amazing amazing art from their mother. She has a true gift. The online descriptions of the rooms were very realist and accurate. The room was exactly as I expected. It was a large room set up with 2 twins beds as we requested. The beds and linen were confortable. We had a view of the garden, it had a nespresso machine and kettle (bring your coffee or tea) and a small fridge and safe. The small fridge had a few drinks and snacks for purchase and I did quite enjoy the prosseco they sold at a good price! There was a very comfy sofa chair where I spent several hours reading with my prosecco while my daughter slept. The bathroom was a good size with giant miror. It also had an old lady's make-up mirror which I appreciated! ;-) and plenty of counter space for our products. If there is one suggestion I would do is to put a step in the bathroom to access the bath for shorties like me! It was very clean. I was glad to stay in this area. It is authentic, beautiful beyond words, local and calm. Even taxis we took mentioned how great a place this was when we arrived. On regular 33 celcius days, the 10 min. walk down and up is easy, as you have different path options. It is great to walk with locals and get to the bottom part of Travestere for a meal or aperitivo. When in the 40ies, I admit that we have taken a taxi back up, between 11 and 18 euros depending on where we started from. We were glad to have the option, but in 'normal' weather, the walk is pleasant and safe. Due to the weather, we were often out early in the AM so we missed the opportunity to have breakfast with the hosts and other guests, but hopefully another stay. Stefano and Fabrizio were so welcoming and sweet. Communication with them was easy from booking to departure. They made our stay so enjoyable. Thank you both!

My husband and I were traveling to Italy for our first time and decided to stay here for the portion of our trip in Rome. We absolutely loved it and cannot recommend it highly enough! Fabrizio and Stefano were perfect hosts, they were helpful and easy to work with (which was especially helpful as we had a long travel day and arrived later in the evening). The room was beautiful and well equipped with a great bathroom and - important for us - FANTASTIC air conditioning. It is located at the top of the hill in Trastevere, which means about a 10-15 minute walk down to the various restaurants in the lower portion of the neighborhood but we enjoyed this as there are fantastic views all over the city. Thank you Fabrizio and Stefano and we can't wait to stay with you again.
