We had booked this accommodation for 3 nights originally through an agent. The website sold the place as a wellness camp with bush-walks, yoga & options for massages. The website also mentioned they have limited WiFi which was absolutely fine by us. But the website itself had stated certain timings. When we arrived, we were greeted by 5 young boys who were looking after the camp. We had got told that there will be someone or another way our luggage can get to the camp but there wasn’t. As soon as we got to the camp, we were told they have never had WiFi for 8 years since they have opened so that was the first red flag. Secondly we asked about yoga & the wellness part their website offered- they mentioned they don’t have any of these services. At this point the weather was not good for trekking so we were keen to see the other options they offered which turned out to be nothing else. The young boys said they were the only staff so we joked that they might be the teachers for wellness activities… We kept an open mind and stayed one night. The glamping tent was actually comfy, but we felt like we were stuck there since we couldn’t do anything else. We were the only guests in the site too. So the next day we decided to leave early. We contacted our agent and told them what had happened- the accommodation had offered us one night refund instead of 2 night which we were fine about but because I left a honest google review they are trying to turn down our refund which we are still yet to get . This place was a complete fraud and now the fact we left a review online they now won’t give us one night money back which is what they told us… their website had stated the proof of fake wellness & WiFi that they did not have . So being sold a fake experience was definitely a ruined part of our trip and now the accommodation trying to threaten us by not paying back is next level low… The website looked amazing and beautiful but reality was - it wasn’t like that at all.
