Solcalante

Charming, rustic hotel in keeping with the island itself. Very clean, fresh towels and beds made daily. We loved our room and terrace area in the garden. Pool cleaned daily but not very warm at this time of year. Nice fresh breakfast. A couple of things to note: we left our key intentionally one day and couldn’t get back in on our return at 8.30pm. An emergency contact number had been left on reception (inside the building) but not on the door. Fortunately another resident let us in. So take your key with you! We visited first week in Oct, apparently this is midge season, beware as your room is surrounded by a lovely garden and we found it difficult to venture out come evening time without being eaten alive! Island advise- explore a little by foot if possible, the islands public buses are great but in actual fact you may find that you could have walked it in less time than the bus takes! There’s a delightful rustic little deli /cafe a few hundred yards left of the hotel (past the church) highly recommend.

This is a small, family run hotel. The island of Procida is very small and quaint - the hotel matches this style. Rooms are very clean and spacious. They are fairly basic and in a traditional homely style. Ideal for our short break. The garden area is lovely and our room had a great patio area, very relaxing to have a drink in the evening. We ate here one evening - you have to pre-order dinner. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. This area of the island is very quiet, there is restaurant about five minutes walk away (Ristorante La Pergola) which was very good. There are other restaurants and shops about 15 min walk away. The port is about 20 - 25 min walk away or a short cab ride. Beware of the cabs though - we made the rookie error of taking a cab without asking price, got fleeced 20 Euro. There is a local bus service which is very popular. You can walk around the entire island in a day. The breakfast is reasonable - would have liked a bit more choice, but as there are a small number of guests this is to be expected. It would be nice if coffee was offered on arriving, but staff will make coffee if you ask them. Staff are very friendly and helpful. This is the ideal place to stay when visiting the island.

Semplicemente delizioso: nei suoi colori, nel giardino, nelle camere e nel personale. Ottima la colazione nel gazebo in vetro in mezzo al verde. E' anche dotato di una bella piscina! . Si può raggiungere facilmente dal porto in bus! Anna Maria - Torino

Hotel molto bello, elegante, molto curato, stupendo nei colori e in tutti i suoi spazi. Geniale la sala colazione tutta in vetro, con piscina; dispone di una SPA. Ho apprezzato gli arredi, l'accoglienza, l'ambiente... anche i prodotti per il bagno con il loro simbolo... è stata una stupenda sorpresa. Era la mia prima volta a Procida. Con i compagni di viaggio abbiamo "esplorato" l'isola con la mappa e le spiegazioni forniteci. Il mare con i faraglioni a pochi metri... sono veramente entusiasta per l'esperienza... Ringrazio ancora con questo msg per l'accoglienza ricevuta. Un tre stelle certamente superiore!!!

Il Solcalante è chiaramente un angolo di paradiso sulla terra. Arrivato con moglie per la prima volta a Procida, scelto a naso, il Solcalante è una struttura piccola ma molto ben organizzata, gestita da due fratelli dell’isola, fighissimi, e tutto il personale è molto gentile e chiaramente sveglio. Io ci voglio tornare. Forse non voglio andare via. Aiuto!

La struttura si trova in una buona posizione. Le linee degli autobus C1 e L1sono a 1 minuto e 5 minuti di distanza a piedi, rispettivamente. Lo staff è gentile e la colazione, sulla terrazza vista mare, buona. La piscina contribuisce a un soggiorno piacevole per chi non vuole andare al mare. Alcune stanze affacciano sul giardino e danno la possibilità di far godere un piccolo spazio all’aperto. Altre stanze, purtroppo non hanno questa possibilità ed essendo rivolte verso la strada risultano molto rumorose, dalla mattina presto. Peccato.
