Pirogue Lodge

Don't miss this place if you want to stay a couple of nights on Praslin. This is our second stay and we will be back again. The restaurant is excellent, breakfast, lunch or dinner. The rooms are large, well decorated and spotless. The small infinity pool is lovely with fresh clear water. Last but not least the staff, always with a smile, ready to help. I really had an amazing time at Pirogue Lodge. The location is perfect, on beautiful Anse Volbert with loungers available for free by the hotel. The room was great too, clean, with nice balcony, black out curtains, bidet, fridge, powerful shower, safe, etc. I can't really think of anything I needed that wasn't already there. Bernadette and the rest of the staff were really helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The checkout was a bit early, 10am (but actually not that early for the Seychelles, in another place we had to check out even at 9.30!!!) but they let us use the free loungers after that and they made a room available for us to shower and change before our flight. The food is nice, both at breakfast and dinner. If I really have to find something to improve on, I would say the air-con is a bit too loud and the sausages at breakfast aren't great. I recommend sitting on the sea-side part of the restaurant where you are normally greeted by cute little orange birds (they seem to like rice).

We have a great stay at this special lodge on Praslin. Wow, the moment we stepped in, the staff were there waiting to welcome us. What is so special is the lodge is close to the restaurant, so easy to jump in and out. The room is spacious and though its by the main road, nothing is heard when you are in the room. Great job team

First and foremost, all the staff at la pirogue went above and beyond after I had come out of a serious accident. I fractured my knee and they accomodated my needs from the day I hopped into that room. The ladies treated me like private health care staff as I was on my own and even helped me get some new crutches on mahe! The food and room was very comfortable facing the seafront and pool. I was treated so well and will definitely be returning for another stay when my knee has healed after surgery. 100% reccomend this hotel. The ice cream and sorbet they gave me was the cherry on top! Abbiamo soggiornato 5 notti in questa struttura e ne siamo rimasti più che soddisfatti. Camera spaziosa e pulita e bagno altrettanto. Personale sempre disponibile per qualsiasi cosa e gentilissimo. Possibilità di noleggiare un’auto direttamente presso l’hotel, servizio efficientissimo. Sono disponibili anche i teli mare e si possono sostituire tutti i giorni. Colazione senza lode, ma comunque soddisfacente. Posizione ottima sul lungo mare di Côte d’Or, ci si sposta facilmente a piedi ed è servita di numerosi ristoranti.

Struttura ottima, camera super spaziosa con vista mare, attrezzata in tutto e molto pulita. Colazione assortita e personale molto cordiale e disponibile. Si possono prenotare escursioni e taxi direttamente dalla struttura. Zona comoda a tutto, volendo anche alla stazione del bus
