Glamping Hotel Flor y Bambu

All of the reviews I read prior to my visit spoke of the "Magic" in this place ....As soon as we arrived I knew exactly what they were talking about! We were in the largest of the Casitas, and it simply OOZED romance with a cool boho chic tropical vibe! The outdoor shower is one of the sexiest surrounded by tropical plants and bamboo trees! It rained the first night and was even more magical, IMHO! Sophie and her staff made us feel right at home and it is the ONLY place I would stay when returning to Guanacaste! Thank you, Sophie and Nicolas, for a fantastic stay! Will definitely recommend and return! Tip: I was worried about mosquitoes since it's in the heart of the jungle, but we had no issues ...Keep the fans on and wear a good natural Insect repellent, and all will be well!

Hands down the best place we stayed in Costa Rica! The owner Sophie is such a lovely person and you can see all the love she has put in the place and the beauty of her garden! The energy is so peaceful and soothing. The tent/room is pristine clean, great pillows, beautiful attention to detail in everything. The sleep quality is really good and the bed so comfortable. We had an outdoor private shower surrounded by plants, that was the “it” factor for me and became a ritual. We enjoyed the private deck with chairs where we sat down to listen to the sounds of the trees, the animals (monkeys, all kind of birds) and don’t even get me started on the simply magical fireplace gosh!!! Cheers to Adrien who hosts the stay, what a great guy! He made sure our stay was as pleasant as possible! We will definitely be back ❤️

We just returned from 2 weeks in Costa Rica and Flor Y Bambu was 1 of 5 accommodations we stayed at. What a unique and wonderful oasis. My family and I all agreed it was our favourite. We had a super cute cabin that was open air except for the bedroom and has a great outdoor shower. Beautiful gardens and a refreshing pool. Short bike ride to the beach or about 1/2 hour walk. Lots to look at along the way and a close by brewery should you need to stop for a refreshment. Sophie the owners is such a kind and thoughtful person. She gave us great tips on where to eat dinner and both places where absolutely amazing. She even text us the evening it was raining to see if we wanted her to come pick us up as we didn’t rent a car. Great beach and not busy at all. Small taco Stand by the edge of the beach for a quick bite before the walk back. Highly recommend Flor Y Bambu! Thank you Sophie ❤️

I stayed at the lovely Flor Y Bambu in early January with my family. We glamped in a tent, which was spotless and clean. I especially loved the outdoor shower in the back - spectacular experience under the stars. We woke every morning to sounds of howler monkeys. The gardens are beautiful, and the pool and eating area are simply perfect. In the evening there's a small outdoor fire you can choose to enjoy. We found great swimming beaches close by, our favourite was Playa Ventanas. Also a number of good restaurants. I hope to return one day!
