This resort is truly a gem in Phuket. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, staff is exceptional and friendly, food is great! Even with one pool under maintenance we did not feel like we were missing out on anything. Loads of activities for teens to keep them entertained. Thank you for a great stay.

It was simply amazing! It ticked all points for us! Right next to beach, family oriented, has kids area, good crowd, good meals! We enjoyed every part of it! Would definitely recommend to our friends.

It was a pleasant stay . The staff in general are helpful and genuine . The reception staff are efficient and the breakfast is good compare to some other hotels .  The room was comfortable and the quality of the mattress was also good . The bathroom a bit old though but good enough for showering .  The beach is wonderful and the access to it very easy .  I had a drink at the pool bar , the Waiter name Goong was extremely rude . I ordered a Mojito Happy hour that starts from 5.00pm to 6.00 pm ( by one get one ) I came to realised that it was 4.55pm when I ordered.She just said you can have only one without explaining . She could have said Sir it is not 5.00 pm yet or something  . Instead I did reminded her that it was not a way to communicate with a customer by being rude . She genuinely looked away and continued her closing bar , a pity in hospitality business. The only negative point in this resort but she should be seriously reminded how to handle a customer how to talk with care ! Will be back .

The fact that there was free food for children was really great. The water slide and the pools were all of good quality. The activities for children were of good quality. The breakfasts were above average. Location right on the beach was great. The fact that they did not make the thai food to the correct local taste standard the first time, based on my skin color was not good. However, the second time and onward, they treated me fairly after i filed a complaint. The fact that there was a huge cockroach in the room one day and multiple mosquitoes in the room, another day are things that they need to improve. Beautiful property and good staff

Place was great, food was unfortunately a little subpar, but overall, quite a nice and pleasant experience.

Room was very clean and spacious even had a veranda with pool access and 2 minute walk to beach it was very nice

The resort was very family friendly and clean. The workers were very polite. My son enjoyed swimming at the 4 different swimming pools, and also enjoyed riding the water slide. The room was very clean and smelled wonderful. We stayed during new years eve, and during the night there were many fireworks and lanterns that light up the sky.

This is the best hotel so far and I won't regret it. The staff is very welcoming. It's kids friendly and I didnt expect it. They have lots of activities for kids. Love the pool and best part is the pool is warm( mainly because the weather is super hot). Direct beach access. You get to see beautiful sunset daily. Only down side is, the location to halal food is far.

I have a lot of negative comments compared to the positive ones. I will start with the positive comments, they have 5 pools to cater to all categories of ppl staying here. They have pool access rooms which is a plus point and it is a beach front hotel. They also have microwave in the room so thats good. This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel but i dont think it matches the services provided. This is my 3rd time in Phuket and this is by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed. I stayed here for 5 days, the breakfast selection was the same for all 4 mornings. By the 4th day, i cant take it anymore. The breakfast selection was not great, not tasty. We have to use a card to redeem a beach/pool towel, and once we returned the towel they will give us a card back. This is the 1st time I experienced this concept. Are they afraid that we will steal or not return the towel? This is a 4 star hotel for god sake. The toilet design is old, the presentation is bad, they put the toiletries in a brown paper bag and for the 1st time ever, a 4 star hotel does not provide a hair conditioner. The phone in the room was not working. We had no choice but to walk to the front desk to ask things. We borrowed 2 international plugs and they asked to pay THB100 deposit. They are really afraid that we will steal stuff I guess. One of the days, they didn't clean the room, when we asked them, they said we hung something outside the door. Please tell me whats there to hang?? There was nothing to hang! We definitely did not hang anything! We had a car and on our last night the parking was full. They asked us to park at a dark alley behind a building across the road beside Asian Essence and expect us to walk in dark?? I have 2 kids with me. I asked if i could do a late check out. The check out time is at 12pm , I asked for 1 pm. The front desk guy was checking something on the computer but his reply is that I have to pay THB300 per hr. Whats there to check when he is asking me to pay? I thought he is checking the room availability after me. Upon checking out i realized i left my handphone in the room, so i asked for the room card back, i walked to the room and the card has been deactivated, had to walk back to the counter get it activated and walked back again. After signing all the docs, i left. 15 mins later they called me telling me that i have unpaid f&b. Imagine if i dont have a car? So had to drive back and make payment. They did not apologize for troubling me until I told them they didnt do their job properly. This is a cheapskate hotel they will ask you to pay for everything and anything. I will never come back for this poor hotel.

Bangtao Sunwing is a great hotel with 5 swimming pools well maintain faculties friendly staff and a beach just at the back of the hotel . The breakfast is great and facing the beach

A great family hotel. Clean and practical rooms. Great food. Our 2nd visit and we would certainly recommend to families.

Stay away if you're not a family with kids would be my advice. This is like a kids holiday club. The location is great so we just went and spent all our time on the beach. Breakfast average and they have this weird rule about towels - the check in felt very pressured explaining rules rather than providing a relaxing experience. As I said, if you're young couple or friends - avoid!
