Stayed one night 26/02. Lovely hotel with nice bar and restaurant. Bedrooms clean and spacious. What made out stay was the exemplary customer service. Lorna and can't remember the guys name went completely over and above for customer service. They were so friendly, helpful and professional. Hope the owners know how lucky they are to have staff like this! Dinner was amazing, food was of an incredible high standard. We have smoked haddock for breakfast, best breakfast we have had in a hotel in a long time. Could not fault the hotel. I would give the following: 5 points Hotel 5 points Customer Service (6 points if that was possible) 5 points Food Would I recommend - without a doubt and I will definitely be there again!

We stayed here for one night as we were picking up our grand-daughter from Sea Cadets camp the following morning. The staff were very friendly and welcoming on check-in and our room was very clean and quite large with a hospitality tray and fridge if needed. The food was very good - both dinner that evening and breakfast the next morning - all cooked freshly to our requirement! The service was excellent and again the staff in the dining room were exceptional - I was determined to remember their names, yet this once again evaded me! I keep telling myself to write it down!! Anyway, all in all, I highly recommend this hotel and its staff if you are in the area!

Staff helpful and pleasant Bath had black mould on seal and rust around taps could do with a bit of attention Shower very noisy Bathroom cold Windows in bedroom wouldn’t stay open Food at dinner was ok nothing special nice presentation Breakfast disappointing cheap sausages beans running around plate, obviously cooked in advance and not freshly cooked to order as arrived within about 2 minutes of ordering thus some items were dried up Seemed expensive for 1 night DBB at over £180 especially given location
