Beautiful place, given we were staying in different places all over Paarl we did get an idea of value for money so with the rain it was hard to give this a 5 star as the tv was crappy. But otherwise beautiful place and clean.

The cottage was specious, clean, and has everything one needs. It has a swimming pool, restaurant and pub. The hosts made me feel very welcome.

My wife and I stayed over at the Estate for a week. We only made the booking on the same day as we checked in. Tessa was extremely accommodating and went out of her way to arrange the room. We also checked in late, which was no problem for the host. Friendly staff and good facilities. I will definitely go back

I found this place through a personal recommendation and wholly enjoyed my stay with my two kids. Super friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, conveniently located within the Wine country near Cape Town. We always felt safe there and the kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the WiFi…😊

This hotel was a big highlight of my trip - highly recommend! The team are so welcoming, it's a lovely relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful setting with delicious meals, poolside drinks and comfy rooms. Everything I needed was taken care of. Tessa is a legend and makes this family run spot a delight.

Great atmosphere, lovely food and fabulous staff Charming, comfortable rooms, very relaxing stay with beautiful gardens and surroundings. We travelled as a group of two couples and we stayed in Stable 3 and Barnyard 6. Both were very comfortable with outside sitting areas. The swimming pool and bar area are looked after by the friendly and super-efficient staff. Owner/Managers, Tessa and Stefan, are always on hand with helpful suggestions and are great company. We highly recommend to everyone

very beautiful owner-managed estate, highly recommended: situated in a wonderful landscape, this quiet retreat is perfectly connected and provides clean and comfortable cottages, arranged in a luxury estate with a picturesque pool-area by the restaurant, very family-friendly and caring staff.

An amazing stay. We were warmly greeted by Tessa, one of the owners who upgraded us to a beautiful room. The bed was so comfortable, together with comfortable pillows and such a clean room. We had so much space and two beautiful pools to choose from. The staff are wonderful and so friendly and can't do enough for you. The property is immaculately clean. I can't rate our stay highly enough. Incredible breakfast too. Thank you - Antoinette (UK)

My brother and I were very impressed with our 2 night stay at De Leeuwenhof Estate. From the time we arrived until we left all the staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The rooms were very spacious and the bathrooms were very modern. We also couldn’t fault the cleanliness of all areas. We would highly recommend staying here and would certainly book again if we were visiting Paarl.

It’s a big 👍🏻 from us! A beautiful property, stunning grounds, very friendly staff, best swimming pool, excellent 3 course set menu. Oh, and our request for a very late check out, for an evening flight back to London was so kindly granted. Thank you - We can’t wait to come back!
