Hon Tam is a beautiful, relaxing and romantic island. The villas are beautifully decorated, the breakfast was delicious and ample choices - probably the best buffet breakfast during our holiday. Staff were polite and helpful. I thought there would be a lot of water sports however they were very expensive so we didn’t do any. I also thought there may be day trips from the island (island hopping or snorkelling) however there wasn’t - we would of had to return to Nha Trang to do snorkelling tours or visit Vinpearl- the island has free ferries to (and from) Nha Trang throughout the day. The gym overlooking the beach was awesome as was the huge swimming pool. The gardens were beautiful. The mud baths were the highlight. We had a relaxing massage. I would recommend information within the villas in English so that tourists can get the most out of their experience at Hon Tam as we were not aware that the canoes were free for guests and that the spa had a free jacuzzi for guests. There may have been other amenities that we missed as there was not much information given about the island/ facilities provided /written in English

Had a relaxing stay at the hotel.

Good choice for families to have holidays. The check-in location is at Vinpearl harbour of Nha Trang and then hotel boat brings you to the location. Because resort is situated in the island therefore sea is quite calm, clean and beach sand is very soft. Bungalows are quite wide, situated in natural areas. Pool is great and deep. Service is ok in general, some small adjustments would be good like enough menus in the restaurant, towels could be refreshed, breakfast is fine etc. We didn’t try spa, therefore can’t comment it.

The staff is friendly and helpful. But the food is not too good

The hotel was very nice and pretty. My family and I enjoyed staying there!

Wonderful location, everyone of staff is very helpful and kind. Morning yoga class on grass near the sea is perfect . Food is excellent . Swimming pool is with beautiful frangipani trees around . Beach is like Maldives sand. I love this place❤️

All was super. One minor thing that spoiled our impression: sandflies. We were bitten severely.

Limited access of transportation

A quiet resort with simple amenities. Not much activities you can do there unless you travel out of the island. The place maybe need some minor renovations and touch up to refreshen things up.

The speedboat schedule was very inconvenient, every 2 hours. It was also very dark inside the bungalows, the lights were very dim.

Good hotel

The resort provides a free boat service to the island itself. The room was very spacious with a huge bathroom and balcony. It was nice and comfortable and staff were also really nice. Do expect resort prices for the food. The beach is a little bit rocky but still nice. Swimming pool was fantastic and the check in/out service was fuss free.

I recently spent 4 nights at Hon Tam Resort and had an incredibly relaxing experience. This resort is an ideal destination for both leisure and work, as well as for those seeking a healing retreat. The facilities are well-maintained, and the food at the restaurant is delicious. However, being on an island does come with some inconveniences compared to being on the mainland. The peaceful environment and the cleanliness of the rooms made my stay very enjoyable.
