"I had a great stay here. Check in was simple and the staff were nice. The room was nice for what I paid, although lighting not great with only the bathroom lighting and mirror being sufficient to apply make up! Bathroom was small and pokey, having to close the door to access the make up mirror was annoying as no sideboard to store makeup so had to keep going in and out. Room was noisy as could hear neighbours talking, and lots of street noise. Ear plugs helped. Shower tray turned into a paddling pool but reported this and it was fixed. Cleaning staff were very nice and insisted on making up the rooms if they saw me in the hall. Overall, the staff I spoke to during my stay were very good, check in/out process was simple - M was very polite and explained the process, room decor could do with a refresh but wasn’t terrible, main areas look just how they look on Gossip Girl! I was able to leave my case for two hours after check out, this was very helpful. Location was great, one block from Central Park and plenty of supermarkets and food places nearby (love Morton Williams!) and perfect being just opposite the Lincoln centre too, although did not attend any shows here but also looks the same as it looks on Etoile! Overall, a satisfying stay in a great location. I will definitely consider staying here again."

"For New York City, where space is a premium, the rooms here are quite spacious. The location is excellent, not far from the subway and Times Square. There's hot water available on the first floor, which is a great convenience for Chinese guests. The front desk also offers free luggage storage. Highly recommended!"

"Beyond its proximity to Times Square, the experience was honestly pretty mediocre. The initial room we were given faced the street and was extremely loud, with the constant roar of traffic and revving engines late into the night. We were moved to a room on the seventh floor, which overlooked a mechanical floor and also generated continuous noise. Frankly, in Manhattan, I wouldn't recommend staying near Times Square. It's simply too crowded with tourists, dirty, chaotic, and loud, unless seeing Broadway shows is your absolute priority. There's a mandatory $40 daily 'resort fee,' but it offers no amenities or services to justify the cost. The only 'perk' we found was being able to claim two pieces of fruit from the downstairs bar each day."

"The hotel location is excellent. Our room was clean but very old beds and squeaky, the shower didn't work properly. The breakfast is over priced, cold and very minimal. I would not rate this hotel as a 5 star. Understably its a busy period but the lobby was overcrowded with outsiders taking photos. The door men were great, sorry can't recall the names."

"Very satisfied . no luxuries. Practically inside the Port Authority, just cross the street. Coming from Jfk, you are already at the hotel without having to change trains. Simple, breakfast included and basic. Several restaurants nearby. We walked to Time Square and the High line / The Vessel. Excellent value for money for New York. And I've stayed in several hotels there. from my Window I See Port Authority Station"

"The hotel is conveniently located on Broadway. Our rooms got great views. However, the services are very poor and disappointing. We were traveling with family of six to attend a wedding in New York and when we first checked in, the rooms felt dusty and not very clean. The toilet paper on the roll was almost used up and there was no extra toilet paper in the bathroom. We had to contact the front desk three times to finally get it delivered. In one of the rooms, the water boiler was not working and you wonder if staff actually check the room condition before guests come. There had been another incident that we think could be totally avoided if the hotel pays attention to the condition of the room and convenience for the guest. One of our family members’ cellphone accidentally fell through a gap between bed and wall and it’s unreachable by hand. Eventually we had to ask the front desk for help and the hotel workers had to use special tools to get the phone out and cover the gap. We paid 500 some dollars for the room per night and the hotel does not provide slippers for the guests. Little toiletries like an extra hand soap bar, tiny toothpaste and hand lotion that many other hotels provide are not available in this hotel. For room service, it’s not automatic and you have to inform the front desk each time you want your room cleaned. As for the breakfast choice, it’s just bare minimum. The general feeling or impression is that the economy is not doing well, the hotel is cutting costs in every possible way, and customers are getting less. Overall the experience was not that good. One should definitely not have high expectations even for the high price you pay."
