Inn at Pleasant Lake

I went to relax, visit family in ME and VT, and contemplate existential questions about my life's direction. This was the perfect place to do so. I was taken care of beyond my expectations. The Inn is located in a quiet area away from major roads. The rooms are clean, functional and maintain historic charm. I took naps nearly every day, sat by the fire, had wonderful meals, enjoyed a walk around the lake (5.5 miles, mostly flat). I absolutely plan to stay again, next time bringing my daughter. Shannon (?), Justin, and George are wonderfully kind people. This is a wonderful bespoke, boutique Inn, bed and breakfast.

We had a wonderfully relaxing 4 days at this lovely inn. Justin and his team are very welcoming and do a fantastic job of creating a cozy place for their guests to enjoy! Our room was comfortable and clean. The inn has spaces to relax with a hot drink and their cookies are yummy! Breakfasts were delicious and service was excellent. The inn has beautiful views of the lake and mountains. We are already planning to come back in the fall season. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the bed was plenty comfortable. I could see that a lot of care had been put into the decor and the facility. Coffee was available 24 hours. The breakfast was a real highlight! We'll definitely be going again!

My husband and I (plus our two friends) had a wonderful stay at the Inn at Pleasant Lake. The inn itself is beautiful and its setting is enhanced as it is nestled on the shores of Pleasant Lake. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess and shown to our beautifully appointed rooms. Dinner that evening was delicious and we were most appreciative of the care the kitchen took to accommodate the special dietary needs of our friend. Again, the same attention was paid to the dietary needs of our friend at breakfast. We would highly recommend this venue for a relaxing get away or a special occasion. We will definitely return.

My wife and I had an absolutely delightful, fun, relaxing 4-night getaway to this charming inn located in such a beautiful scenic spot. The innkeeper, Justin and all the staff spoiled us with their warm genuine hospitality, friendliness and many acts of kindness to ensure our enjoyment of the inn and the surrounding area. Our room was very clean, tasteful furnishings. The bed was very comfy, nice sitting area, clean large bathroom. The included breakfast each morning was delicious; and nice that hot items can be customized to our requests. The breakfast area and views out the windows are wonderful. The common living room with fireplace was warm, comfortable and very relaxing to sit, talk, read, play games, sip tea or a drink. Nice décor, too. There are nice places to walk or hike right from the inn. The New London town center with several good restaurants and shops is a short drive from the inn. We enjoyed a weekday downhill skiing at Mount Sunapee, which was great. Another day we had a delightful experience x-country skiing at Pine Hill Ski Club in New London. Our last day we played pickleball at an indoor gym at Sawyer-Colby College during public play (we brought our paddles with us). This was our second time visiting The Inn at Pleasant Lake, both during the winter. These have been great visits. Perhaps we will experience the inn during the warm weather at a future visit, although we really enjoyed our wintertime visits. Thank you so much, Justin and Team! We look forward to our next visit.

Visited for Colby Sawyer men’s Basketball game. Had a wonderful stay in a spacious clean room. The Inn was welcoming in a cozy winter wonderland. The breakfast was splendid as well and the views out to the lake was very relaxing with my morning coffee. A absolute must stay for anyone looking in New London.
