When we got off the elevator to go to our room on the 2nd floor, we immediately determined the hallway reeked of smoke. Still hopeful, we proceeded to our non-smoking room and found it reeked of smoke as well. According to the front desk, no other rooms were available so we canceled our reservation and found another hotel with a room that did not reek of smoke.

We stayed here on our way to Florida. The hotel is a few miles off 65, but the hotel met our needs. It wasn’t the most up to date, but the employees were working extremely hard to clean the rooms, put out the breakfast, and check us in. We’d stay here again.

There are good and bad points here. As noted by others, the 2nd floor was full of smoke. GOOD: Comfortable beds and linens, above average cleanliness, staff was pretty good. Not so good: Bathroom needs to be gutted and re-done. Carpet should be replaced with hard surface flooring. Breakfast was not edible for my gluten intolerant wife. It was all breads and over-ripe bananas. The whole area around the hotel was a bit sketchy. We didn't feel in danger, but you can do better for the same cost. Recommend finding a better hotel at a nicer area at the next exit toward Atlanta (Hwy 271).

First, we were given a room that someone had smoked in, the whole second floor seemed to be a smoking floor, and I had to request a room change. The room we were given was fine until the next morning when the plumbing stopped working. I wanted to mention this during checkout, but no one was at the checkout counter.

We booked a stay at this hotel because of the rating. However, our room smelled of cigarette smoke, the halls reeked (unknown smells), and it felt dirty all over. Bathroom needs remodeled, toilet had mismatched seat to toilet, and tile floor was dirty. We had planned to stay 2 nights and checked out after the 1st night... if we'd had another hotel, we would have checked out immediately!

Guy at the front desk charged my corporate card when I checked out the day before it should’ve been a charge back called to ask for gm guy hung up in my face I need to speak to a manager to get handle

Hearing the gun shot outside when we were checking should have been a sign to find somewhere else to stay. Front desk lady didn’t seem to bothered by it like it was normal occurrence. Room was old and smelled of mold. Carpet was worn & sticky. Bed mattress needed replaced and we were not sure the bedding was fresh. Towels didn’t have that sanitized smell to them and there was water damage around the shower. There were people in and out of a room near us all night long which kept us up. We did not bother with breakfast. We would consider sleeping in our car before staying here again at $156. It just wasn’t the Comfort Suites standards we are used too. Wanted to end with two positives. The water pressure in the shower was good and it was also hot and our car was still secure when we went to leave.

Staff was pleasant, breakfast was the usual comfort inn fare. Room was OK, however, the water pressure in the shower was very low, the toilet paper holder was on the wall behind you..who thought that was a good idea? And the shower needs the caulking in the tub cleaned or replaced as it was moldy.
