The hotel is old but very comfortable and well taken care of. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The wait staff could not have been more helpful - true professionals. The ladies that worked the front desk were totally dedicated individuals. You could tell that they enjoyed their position and helping visitors. The TV only had two English channels. One should be concerned about the parking. The hotel only has 14 parking spaces, and it is on a first come first serve basis. There is paid parking through the hotel at a reasonable price.

The hotel is very nice. Classy. Rooms are nice. Bed was a bit hard. Service was good. Breakfast buffet was very nice. Good location; central to a number of stores. Safe. Just be sure to ask for a room that is NOT at the front of the hotel. There’s a very loud nightlife out in front of the hotel. We’d definitely stay there again.

Definitely not 5 or 4 star. Furniture is outdated, rooms are small, showers are but the best, very narrow bathtub, terrible water pressure and water temperature changes at a whim. The walls are paper thin. You can hear conversations in other rooms. Night life in surrounding places was a constant interruption.

I can’t understand how this hotel has been awarded 4 stars . It s tucked away in a narrow , grotty back street . My heart sank when we were shown our room , the furniture dated back to the 1950s . There was no natural light in the room . There were shutters both inside and outside the window which were firmly closed . The furniture reminded me of the utility furniture which was issued after th war . Dark green walls were very oppressive. As our safe didn’t work we took up the offer of putting valuables in the hotel safe At reception, the problem with that was nobody was available to open the safe when you needed your passport or money !

A very pleasant hotel. It has a unique character and its own style. The entire staff gives it soul, which creates a wonderful accompaniment. The people working here live for this hotel and the hotel lives for the tourists. I felt at home there. Warm greetings to all the staff, especially Mariano, Gabrielle, Ibra, without whom breakfasts and dinners would not taste the same, and greetings to the beautiful, helpful and nice ladies from the reception, Ervisa and Adele. 😉

Hotel was nice, clean. Linens were thin and scratchy. No AC in late May made the room unbearably HOT AND STUFFY. Sleeping was difficult. That is why the lower rating. Nice roof patio. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special. We had dinner in the restaurant once and it was good. Cream of asparagus soup was delicious.

We were with a Titan/Saga holiday tour group, and this hotel was great old but clean and very tidy , food was also great and the staff were very helpful, Montecatini Terme is lovey and i would recommend a walk all over the town , make sure to visit the Spa , We will return

First and foremost, the location of Hotel Minerva Palace in Montecatini, Italy is perfect! Just a short walk to fabulous restaurants and shopping. This hotel is charming and the attention given to us by the staff was above and beyond. In particular, we must mention Francesco who was so friendly and informative. Francesco provided us with 2 excellent recommendations for dinner during our five day stay here and they were absolutely fabulous! When you travel, at least we find, feeling welcomed and having staff who provide you with exceptional service is very important. Hotel Minerva Palace, Montecatini, Italy - WOW! I have been to Italy several times in different locations - Milan, Torino, Naples etc. This was my first trip to Montecatini and Cinque Terre. Our Hotel was HOTEL MINERVA PALACE, Montecatini. This hotel is a GEM - quiet, clean and located in the middle of town and close to everything, walking mostly. This hotel also has a large parking lot, available on a first come basis. Upon arrival, we parked on the street overnight and was given a parking spot next morning. We were warmly greeted at the front desk by wonderful staff. The reception area was a treat for its decor and cleanliness, most welcoming. The staff were very polite and our check-in smooth. This hotel was perfect, it had two elevators to help with our luggage etc. Our room was clean and elegant with all the comforts like home. We had breakfast (included) daily in the dining room, very elaborate - all coffees, teas, fruits, croissants, pastries (baked on premise), yogurt, ham, cheese, bread for toasting etc. Lunch and dinner is also provided with reservation ( very delicious meals and price friendly). To me, the convenience, home made-food and hospitality was worth ALL. The room-cleaning staff made our room daily. We were able to travel conveniently by train to Cinque Terre, Florence, Pisa etc train station was less that 5 minutes walk from hotel. There were many beautiful shops, pharmacies, boutiques, restaurants etc in the neighborhood. Of course, I had to be close to some of the best pizzas and Risotto. It is important for me to acknowledge all the staff - especially Franco and Mariano, whose names are easy for me to remember and their staff at Hotel Minerva Palace, Montecatini, Italy for the most memorable and enjoyable stay at their hotel. I recommend Hotel Minerva Palace to families, also. During our stay, we made friends with many guests from Austria, USA and other countries. Thank you, Minerva Palace Hotel for a wonderful and loving experience and memory.

My first impression of this hotel was not 5 Star. Parking was difficult as they only had a few spots to offer. However, we were greeting by an amazing front desk staff who went above and a beyond at every opportunity. The hotel was in a great area of the city. Rooms are a bit worn, but comfortable. Walls are a bit thin, but we covered our noisy neighbor's television with a white noise app. Aside from the parking issue, I would not hesitate to stay here again. It would be great if they could find a way to offer more parking. Kudos to Anna, Antonio, Marco and the young lady at the front desk whose name I did not catch. You guys are the BEST!!

Wonderful staff but a loud band playing at another hotel til mid night… so far… absolutely loud, Loud , loud…and annoying… can be heard for miles around and nothing is done about it…… you won’t sleep…. Even with ear plus so e prepared. Not impressed!! I called the desk and they will Do nothing about it Try to appease you. This is not a vacation…. It is torture from a horrible band.

The hotel is in a great location, close to restaurants, bars and shops. The food in the hotel restaurant is good, and the bar service is great. The rooms are decorated from the 1970s decor and I think thats how old the beds are. The beds were the worst I have ever slept on! The hotel has very friendly staff.
