El Oceano Beach Hotel Adults Only Recommended

I have had the worst experience at this hotel. I had 3 rooms that all needed to be cleaned before I could settle in. The service is absolutely trash, I’ve never had staff be as rude and unprofessional than this hotel. I’ve had 3 employees roll their eyes at me. They have not shown any concern for my simple requests and have made me feel as if I’m not worthy. The rooms were disgusting, I’m talking hair(private area) left on the toilet seat and sink in 2 of the rooms, drink rings left on all table surfaces. It still looks like nothing had been dusted in well over a month. Finger prints and grime covered everything. The base boards literally made me gag. The beds all needed new clean sheets because of hair, stains, dust. I just checked and there is still hair that is not mine in the sheets. The mattress are springs that basically poke through. The sliding balcony doors do not lock, which is a basic security people should be able to have. They do not provide ice for the rooms. I’m so dissatisfied with a place that supposedly a nice hotel, but it truly is not. I’ve had better rooms at Motel 8’s. They can’t handle the simplest of tasks. I asked for new towels 2 hours ago, still no sign of them. I have pics of everything to prove my point and concerns. I’m not the only one either, all the trips I’ve had to make to the front desk, there is always someone else making some sort of complaint. I also have never had to make so many trips to the front desk of a hotel before. They don’t leave any info on how to contact the front desk from your room. Update, I have been puking and crapping my brains out all night because food poisoning at the hotels buffet restaurant. I went down at 1am for water because they won’t bring you water. I have now not slept all night and am completely dehydrated n cant move more than 3 feet with crapping myself, so I call n beg for some simple water to brought up and was shot down immediately. This hotel doesn’t give a flying F about their guests.

A really great luxury hotel which is privately run. The restaurant is fabulous in terms of location (you overlook the beach) and food is superb. The pool area is amazing, swimming up to get your cocktails is great abd book the VIP beds to get the best views ! Not a cheap hotel by any means but everything is catered for - you can’t get a better experience than El Oceana!

This place is absolutely superb! We've been coming for a few years, but had to stop during the pandemic and then because of health issues. We've been for dinner a couple of times in the last year or so, but stayed for Christmas this year (first time away from home at Christmas!) and it's the best decision we've made for a long time! The hotel itself is beautiful, and has such a calming and relaxing atmosphere. The views from the lounge area and the restaurant are just wonderful - I could have sat all day looking out to sea! The food as always was delicious and the staff are the best. If ever anyone is looking for a special place to stay in Spain, I can't recommend El Oceano highly enough.

Lovely staff, relaxing and a brilliant day weather wise....as it seems to be every day....family time so important....thanks to you all for my break away. Lunch was great and the club sandwich was a struggle size wise but I managed it....no surprises.

Myself and my now wife stayed at El Oceano for a week in September 2024 during which we had our wedding ceremony at the hotel. The planning process for the wedding was made very straightforward by the hotel who provided recommended suppliers for each aspect of the day and then collaborated with each to make the day run smoothly. The ceremony and day itself exceeded any expectations we had and we had the best day of our lives. Special thanks to manager Veronika who was our point of contact during the planning process and wedding itself. Veronika was wonderful to deal with and couldn’t have done more for us during both planning and our stay at the hotel. We took the opportunity to stay at the hotel for a week in the Cosmopolitan Suite. This room is stunning and really made our stay and wedding week feel special. The service levels from all staff, especially those at the pool bar, is what really sets this hotel apart and keeps us coming back. I couldn’t recommend this hotel any more highly, a fantastic experience and memories for life.

Wonderful El Oceano !! We came with friends as they had been before on holiday and said if we fancied going book straight away as it books up very quickly, so we booked up 11 months in advance. The staff work very hard and are very professional from the time you arrive nothing is too much trouble to make your holiday special. Prianca and Juan work the restaurant with ease and professionalism and all the staff to name a few Carlos,Yeli,Jose,Simon,Soufian are always attentive and professional. Not forgetting the pool staff Adrian and Marcello thank you for making our friends birthday a very special one you are all very professional and nothing was too much trouble remembering drink requests and they make a mean cocktail. If you are thinking of going which I highly recommend book as soon as you can and also book the Sunday brunch aswell as the food is of a very high standard and the live entertainment is fantastic. Thank you to John the owner and his management team as you have got this hotel spot on with beautiful rooms fantastic food and wonderful staff.
