My family and I had the misfortune of staying at your hotel from May 20, 2022, to May 21, 2022, in room number 324. During our stay, we encountered a number of unsatisfactory service levels that I think you should know of and hopefully do something about. First, it took more than an half hour to check us in even though we had a confirmed reservation. Why it took so long is beyond my comprehension. When I asked the reception staff about the reason of the delay, she stated that she was trying to locate me a room. Second, when we entered the room, the front door looked as though it had been kicked in. The room had not been vacuumed nor swept, the bathroom cabinet was stuffed with dirty towels that smelled of urine and feces, the upstairs bathtub had not been cleaned, the toilet had feces floating in it and the downstairs bed was still dirty. The refrigerator had broken shelves, bathroom cabinets missing drawer fronts, draperies falling off of the windows, and roaches that clearly had overtaken the room. I wonder what do the housecleaning people at your hotel do exactly to prepare the room for the next guest. Do they have a checklist, or do they just randomly go through stuff? When I drove back around to the front office to complain, the staff presented me with several excuses, and blank stares. I thought I was in the Twilight Zone speaking to aliens or something. I was told that the housekeeping staff had quit because your last day of operation for the hotel would be in four days. Which I found out later from one of the residences that was a lie. Thirdly, I had just driven over eight hours from Dacula, GA with my family to attend a funeral and to enter into a hotel room that looked the way in which your hotel looked was even more disheartening and added more pain and stress to what I am already emotionally dealing with at this time. To top it off the room beneath me had high volume traffic going in and out all night. I sat on the edge of the bed in fear all night. I attempted to get a room at one of the neighboring hotels that night and they were all sold out and it was also midnight when I arrived at your hotel. You willing to give me a full refund was the least of my expectations, I had stopped payment on my credit card and begun the dispute process. Your establishment needs to be condemned by the Health Department and the Better Business Bureau
