We stayed in both the water bungalow and the pool villa, and I have to say I much preferred the pool villa—having your own private pool is such a game-changer. The scenery throughout the resort was absolutely stunning, truly a paradise. That said, the room itself felt a bit dated, and the bed and pillows were on the firmer side, which made it less comfortable than I hoped. Service was just basic—not bad, but nothing special either. Overall, the location and views made the stay memorable, but there’s definitely room for improvement in comfort and hospitality.

We stayed in a Pond Villa , beautiful room , very private and quiet. Bed comfortable, towels soft , bathroom amazing , private pool gorgeous, loads of outdoor area. Housekeeping always great - never saw them! Best thing was the house reef , snorkeling amazing , fish amazing , clams amazing ,water warm and no current. I hope they take care of it. Beach always clean and lots of it, new deck chairs would be good. Restaurant left a little to be desired, food was good - not great , service very slow. I think it was Helen at the beach bar was amazing, cocktails great, always a smile, she is an asset. Pick up and drop off good , reception always friendly and helpful.

First time in Palau and it couldn’t be more perfect. I stayed at a beautiful bungalow at Palau Pacific Resort and was warmly welcomed by the kindest staff—always smiling and so friendly. I joined the Rock Island 1-day tour, and the nature was stunning—so pure and unique. The PMA flight aerial tour of the islands gave me the most incredible view from above that was awe inspiring! Big thanks to the PPR team for making my birthday unforgettable: a private beach dinner with a dedicated waiter, a live chef cooking by the sea, and a surprise pnk cake with a birthday serenade . Truly heartwarming. 💕 Thank you for this trip one I will never forget.

This resort was amazing, the accommodation was fantastic and the staff could not be more helpful and friendly, particularly, Joe, Heather and Elizabeth. The crystal blue water at your front door as well as a swimming pool. Lots of water equipment to hire at a reasonable price, snorkel masks, paddle boards and canoes etc. The food was fresh and beautifully cooked and available from 6am to 9.30pm at the restaurant or beach bar. Plenty of fresh drinking water and extras. The staff greet upon arrival and the holiday begins.

The resort is outdated and tired. Staff is apathetic. Overall, very disappointing experience considering our room was over $500/night. The decor in the rooms is outdated. Service was poor. Housekeeping made up our room, but neglected to leave clean towels and washcloths. We had to call to have them delivered. At breakfast, we had to hunt someone down for coffee. When they brought coffee, they didn’t bother to bring or offer cream or sugar. On two occasions in the restaurant, one of us had no napkins and/or no or missing pieces of cutlery. Breakfast was very limited and the food that was there wasn’t great. Empty platters weren’t refilled on the buffet. At dinner, we were ignored for 15 minutes when there were at most four occupied tables in the restaurant. My husband ordered a steak entree that was nearly $60. It was accompanied by plain boiled vegetables and frozen french fries. The server recommended the Korean ribs which I took. They were mostly gristle and fat and largely inedible for $40. My husband’s entree arrived at least 20 minutes before mine. I told him to eat his food while it was hot. By the time my food arrived (after asking twice where it was), my husband had already finished his meal. The one bright spot was lunch at the beach bar. The sliders were hot and delicious. The bartender, Heather, was efficient, friendly and a delight. She also made great drinks!! At the $500+/night price point, I expect a certain level of food and service and this property struck out on both.

12 days at PPR the staff was so incredibly nice and accommodating. Stayed in overwater bungalow 2001. Super clean great view and everything you could need. Excellent 🤿 right out front. It’s just not real private as everyone on the beach can see you on your deck. A small lattice wall would have been nice. Breakfast was the best included with our room. Other food was good just no seasonings, just kind of bland. Grounds are beautifully maintained with lots of paths for walking Kayaking and SUP available. We rented a car and ventured out to see the country. So incredibly clean and lust

A very relaxing and secluded spot in Palau where you can enjoy the tranquility of nature with the ocean breeze, chirping birds and starry nights. It is also the best place to enjoy the sunset with great food and very friendly staff. Simply the best!

A beautiful resort with fantastic service and unbeatable sunsets! There are plenty of activities at your fingertips. It was the best buffet breakfast we experienced in Palau. I suffer from a mould illness and was delighted to see an air purifier in the room. Highly recommend heading to the spa for a Balinese massage!

As pictured and the snorkelling is not too bad from the private beach. I took a stand up board out to the buoys and around the overwater resort areas and it was crystal clear water with lovely coral but I didnt see any larger marine life like turtles. Food was great, but I recommend Elilai seafood if you want an alternative that is also on the water (and they will come and pick you up and drop you back too!). On my snorkelling tour, they dropped me back straight at the hotel pier which was super-convenient given we were drenched by the rain (although the snorkelling seemed to be in the rain pauses thankfully so not that bad). The staff are really very friendly and helpful. Tennis court being renovated and some building in late Dec 2024. Gym is small but has a few free weights, weight machines and cycle/treadmills. Pool was a great place to chill but quite busy at times.

For a 5-star hotel and at this rate, I've had better. The service was friendly and warm, but the room was less than stellar. It feels old, and while it looked clean on the surface, on day 5 of our stay I woke up with a cluster of bites on my legs. The most reasonable explanation is bed bugs. There was also a cockroach in our room which I managed to trap in a glass cup.

The location was excellent, right on the water. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive. The facilities were straight-forward and not over-done. Perfect for a casual, relaxed get away. Nice snorkeling just off the beach. Comfortable pool with great sunsets. Enjoyed the frogs on the walk to our room.

PPR is a lovely hotel beautifully sited in an exquisite setting in the paradise that is Palau. I was traveling with a group from Scripps Oceanography to explore this island nation and to see the ongoing research being done there to combat climate change and to preserve and protect the coral reefs and the flora and fauna of the rock islands. The hotel staff were all so nice, accommodating and helpful, food was good, rooms were clean and spacious. Our group meals were held in various locations around the property, most outdoors with beautiful views. The hotel’s beach is perfect for snorkeling, and its dock allows easy access to boats which took us to various locations for snorkeling and kayaking. The spa is equipped for massage and facials and services were good and reasonably priced.
