We stayed for a two days and everything was amazing! Very clean , renovated room. Nearly the complex were everything that you need. It’s really close to the beach. This is the biggest beach in the Malta.

The main problem with staying at this hotel was the service when there was an issue with the shower. The shower was not draining water properly - you couldn't have the water on for more than one minute before water started leaking out of the shower, into the room, then into the hallway. I was with a group of 4 people, one showered on our first day after a long day out, and we were on the couch on our phones. This is normal to decompress after a long day of being out at the beach and whatnot before dinner. Water leaked from the shower to the hallway to the room with the couch. When we noticed, my friend stopped the shower and I called maintenance about this issue and they said they would send someone. After 30 minutes of water pooling on the floor spreading more, and my friend trying to clean it, I called reception again. They were not kind to me about this issue. They said someone would be coming shortly and hung up on me. Maintenance came after 10 more minutes, and he was quite rude about the issue. He blamed us for the mess, about not noticing sooner, and told us to call as soon as we noticed - which I did! He said he fixed the issue, cleaned up, and then left. He made sure to tell us that we didn't clean it as we should've. This was incredibly rude. The hotel was fine afterwards - the pools are cool, but the hot tubs are not hot. My friends and I did not get treated kindly even though we were kind to staff, and did nothing to disturb other guests. This hotel is good for the proximity to the beach and the restaurants around it, but the service is not great.

Great location if like near beach with bus stops 2 minutes walk from hotel. Nice walk (long 4km and uphill) along the beach and up past the red tower with great views of Gozo to the north and lovely coastline to south. The hotel has warm indoor pool beautiful rooftop pool (little windy at the moment but good view across bay and up to well lit church. Great bar downstairs good deals also. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. Meals good at reasonable prices (cheaper than outside restaurant). Gym has easy to use equipment for a good workout. Room was well equipped and clean, my only con was TV was a little small and selection of channels was minimal. Highly recommend. Will go back again

Had a lovely stay here at the Luna Holiday Complex, the service from the staff were spot on, the rooms were spacious and clean however could do with a bit of a revamp in the bathroom but all in all, we had a very good stay and would come back here again.

War mit der Lage sehr zufrieden, die Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor der Tür. Vom Hotel aus sind mehrere tolle Wanderrouten bzw. Naturparks zu Fuß oder nach kurzer Busfahrt erreichbar (zB Foresta 2000 oder Il Majjistral). Der Hoteleigene kleine Supermarkt war überraschend gut sortiert, grade auch für eine vegane Ernährung und dabei preislich völlig in Ordnung. Mitarbeitende im Hotel alle sehr freundlich. Einziger Minuspunkt: von den Fluren her war im Zimmer immer deutlich viel zu hören (jede Tür, die geschlossen wird, sprechende Gäste, die Reinigungskräfte..).

Bon hôtel très bien situé, il possède une mini supérette au niveau -1 et il y a aussi un centre nautique de plongée qui est très intéressant pour les activités. La piscine au sixième étage est topissime. Vous avez la plage à moins de 500m à pied ce qui est excellent. Malheureusement j’ai passé quatre nuits dans cette hôtel et ma chambre n’a été nettoyé qu’une seule fois du moins la femme de ménage a seulement fait le lit et pas nettoyer la chambre. Les draps n’ont jamais été changé durant mon séjour et les serviettes elles ont été changés qu’une seule fois, ce qui est très déplorable pour un hôtel.

La habitación super grande y la cama super cómoda, como pega la televisión no tenia señal y en recepción nadie habla español, pero una estancia super buena.

L'hôtel est parfait (installations, nourriture, proximité transport public, proximité plage) mais un bémol important insonorisation pas appropriée si clientèle manquant de discrétion, de civilité pour respecter le repos d'autrui !!

The Luna Holiday complex deserves its 3 star rating. The hotel itself is clean, the rooms are clean and reasonably spacious. We stayed in one of the Superior Family Suites, but don’t let the description fool you. There’s nothing superior at all. At best it’s an average suite. I can’t fault the staff at all. They are all friendly and professional. The Sky pool (over 17’s only) is nice, and the views are good. The family pool on the ground level is good if you have small children, but it was far too hot for me. My wife and daughter used it, daughter was 16 on our visit, so not allowed in the big peoples pool. The only downside for me was the coffee at breakfast, it’s awful. There is also live entertainment in the lobby area. Don Toninos bar is pretty good too, and prices are on par with the rest of Mellieha. If you do go to this hotel, beware there are building works at the back of the hotel, and there is occasional noise, but it’s not too bad. I would recommend trying to get a room at the front of the hotel as the view is much better. We had our room at the rear. As I said the hotel is ok, and on the whole we enjoyed our stay there.

This holiday was my first time abroad the accommodation, location and especially the staff at Luna made it an incredible experience. Pardip behind the bar was so friendly made it very memorable and especially comfortable with it being a new experience he showed patience, understanding and over all care overall he was just fantastic. I could not fault anything with the customer service. With this being a birthday present holiday Sinead was amazing doing a surprise cake on the last night for me and over all checking in to make sure our trip was going smoothly for us. The accommodation is lovely clean and comfortable and I can't find a single thing that was not perfect for us. Thank you so much to all the staff for making it an incredible experience.

As soon as we walked into the room I thought “better than I expected”, as too often holiday apartments are small and cramped. The room we got had a bit of space in it. Hotel is well maintained, clean and friendly, a bit like Malta itself, so not difficult to recommend if you want a peaceful rest. Yes, there was building work going on but if Hotel’s didn’t refurbish there would be a lot more to grumble about. Some of the pro’s: excellent Wi-Fi in the room, good enough to hold a video zoom call with home. Free combination safe in the room that was easy to use. Mini-market on site is part of the hotel complex which was well stocked with all the usuals and more besides. Luna shop closes at 1800 but better value than the ‘pick & go’. Our room didn’t have a microwave, Luna did better than a microwave, it was a small oven grill and it worked very well. Lobby bar reception had 3 different TV’s so various football fans were able to watch their team live, no need to find a pub somewhere to watch the game. Bus stop is right outside the hotel. The buses in Malta are excellent. 2 euros seems too get you anywhere on the island, there is even a bus to the airport. There is a gym and an indoor pool, I didn’t use them but they are available. A couple of evenings there was some live entertainment, not my taste, I much prefer to see the football, but again, it’s available. We were not kept awake by loud music in the evening and the builders generally didn’t start work until 8-9am. Can I recommend? Definitely. Would I return to the Luna? Absolutely.
