Lovley hotel nice staff great location

Ottimo soggiorno, personale molto disponibile e cordiale. La struttura non è molto moderna e le camere piccoline, ma la posizione è perfetta a 50 metri dal mare.

Abbiamo soggiornato dal 13 al 16 agosto con il mio ragazzo. La posizione è perfetta, a 4 passi dal mare e da tutte le comodità (motivo principale per cui vi abbiamo alloggiato). La struttura è un po’ datata, andrebbe un po’ modernizzata, fatti alcuni lavori di manutenzione (dato che è un 4 stelle) ma tutto sommato la camera non bella, comoda e molto fresca. La colazione normale, c’era molta scelta alla fine ma unica nota dolente i cornetti che erano piccoli, mai caldi e duri. Per quanto riguarda le pulizie, le stanze erano molto pulite ma, purtroppo, devo dire che venivano fatte a orari “strani”. Ieri eravamo in camera a riposarci (erano le 14 circa) e ci hanno bussato perché dovevano pulire e così siamo stati costretti a metterci sul terrazzo fuori (abbiamo solo chiesto se potessero passare verso le 15 perché il mio ragazzo dormiva e, ovviamente, hanno detto che non c’era problema). Il parcheggio è convenzionato, proprio accanto alla struttura con un costo di 15€ al giorno e qui devo fare una critica (anche se, ovviamente, l’albergo non ha colpe). Il mio ragazzo doveva lavorare oggi e ieri avevamo precisato al parcheggiatore di mettere la macchina in modo da permetterci di lasciare la struttura stamattina alle 7. Siamo scesi ma c’era davanti parcheggiata una bmw, siamo tornati in hotel a chiedere di spostarla (è un parcheggio pubblico e, a quanto ho capito, le chiavi di chi alloggia nelle strutture adiacenti, vengono tutte lasciate al miramare.) In hotel c’era solo il guardiano, non c’era un parcheggiatore, non c’era un proprietario, niente. Il mio ragazzo ha provato a spostarla ma non si accendeva, aveva anche la batteria scarica. Non sapevano nemmeno a chi chiamare, non si sapeva chi fosse il proprietario dell’auto. Morale della favola abbiamo preso la sita alle 8 lasciando la macchina a Maiori e ci hanno detto che per le 9 doveva andare l’elettrauto (e noi per le 8:30 dovevamo stare a casa). Non penso che sia una situazione normale anche perché stasera dobbiamo tornare a prendere la macchina. Ovviamente ripeto, non era colpa dell’ albergo.

The hotel does not offer a pool, but the staff make up for it. The front desk has two excellent day staff, and they advised us to do the Lemon Walk and visit the botanical gardens. These two visits made our trip memorable. After visiting Positano, and forgetting a purchase there, front desk staff went out of their way to retrieve that item for me, relieving me of stress. Diego who operates the breakfast room was also wonderful. All in all i would definitely return, as the location is close to everything. Great place to call home while on the Amalfi coast.

This hotel has a 4 star but according to us and our experience this could be a 2+ or 3-. Best with the hotel is that it’s very close to the beach. Anna in the reception was very helpful otherwise no service countable. Room with no/bad air condition, cockroach in the WC beside breakfast room. Un polite breakfast service and “old” food served as breakfast.

we found this hotel to be absolutely fine for what we needed The location is great there are two large sun terraces with fabulous views We sat in the evenings with our drinks The rooms were spotless and cleaned to high standard every day There is tea and coffee provided but no milk there is, a safe also provided breakfast was fine but things ran out if you left it a little late the breakfast room isn't the best as it's in the basement but how long do you spend in there? the lift is antiquated but this adds to the charm I think some rooms have been upgraded but ours was absolutely fine All the staff were very helpful please remember you are in Italy and their ways are different to ours but all our questions were answered and they all seemed great. if you want 4 or 5 star luxury and stay in hotel s instead of exploring the beautiful Amalfi coast this hotel is not for you! if you want a basic place to stay that's clean , comfortable,in a great location to beach shops bars restaurants buses and ferries etc then you can't go wrong with the Miramare!!

Awful hotel , run down , rude staff , road noise , dirty and lift doesn’t work , shower dripped and left the floor wet , no tea or coffee left in the room , the roof terrace was dirty the seats want burning , the whole place is a disaster it’s the worst in Maiori . The breakfast don’t bother , there is nice cafes for that and the breakfast was disgraceful in a basement with no windows and a dripping stale fountain . Needs rebuilding TUI should never have rated this a 4 star and they were not helpful and ignorant, it’s a 1 star if that , awful place

Stayed here for 4 nights in an upgraded room, which was fine. Breakfast was in a room in the basement with no windows, food not good, only visited once. Hotel is in good position and has a lovely roof terrace looking onto the sea. So if you just need a room then it's ok. Staff were all very helpful, and rooms kept very clean

Four rooms. 2 rooms faulty aircon, 1 room bathroom flooded, all rooms very small. Some staff rude. Breakfast very ordinary, coffee crap. Lift very dodgy, people were getting stuck in lift everyday. The only plus was location. Will not be back.

1 star. Very run down rooms, mould, cracked tiles, leaking air con. Terrible breakfast and terrible rude staff. Got stuck in old fashioned lift and communal toilet. Don't ruin your trip by staying at this hotel.

We spent one amazing week midapril and was really happy over the level of service at hotel Miramare. Rachel, Clelia, Massimo, Angela et al did their outmost to help us get around in Maiori during our stay, recommending nice restaurants, book tables, book trips, helping us understand timetables, remembering our breakfast preferences and even providing transport when we needed that. The rooms are very clean, tidy and modern. It was a real pleasure to stay here and we hope to return some day.

Amazing stay. We spent a full week at Hotel Miramare over easter 22 and we were surprised over level of service, standard and how easy everything became thanx to that. The staff did their outmost to help us find our way during our stay and Rachel, Clelia, Massimo,Angela et al, will stay in our hearts as an example on how things should be done. We were helped with practically everything we asked for, directions, timetables, finding good restaurants, putting trips together, you know, all the things you have no clue how it works when visiting a foreign town first time and the value added to that means everything. The hotel itself is located precisely were it should be and had a very nice level of standard. It seems as a recent renovation has been made and everything was tiptop, modern and Italian goodlooking with a level of hygiene and cleanliness we almost never has seen before.. so we can really recommend Hotel Miramare and its staff after this amazing week in Maiori.
