The hotel is located very close to jingshangling tourist center, allowing to easily climb for the sunrise. The owner is very nice and will give you many tricks for your climb. Need to be recommended+++

This was one of our favourite places in China, the surroundings are awesome, beautiful and peaceful. The best place to see the great wall if you don't like crowds. The host is realy nice and helpful. We are vegetarian is not easy to find food in China, but he recommended us the restaurant across the street, and they made tasty vegetarian food for us. I would definitely come back in the future.

I cannot recommend this place enough! Firstly, we needed to drop our bags off at 10am once the train arrived in Gubeikou and they were so happy to let us into our room/hold our bags that early. Then they subsequently wowed us with their hospitality. They gave us their contact so they could give us a ride back to the accommodation from the base of the walk at Jinshanling at the end of the day. They upgraded our room. They recommended an excellent and well priced restaurant for dinner (across the road). They arranged a car to take us to the base of the wall at 0320 for sunrise. The room was beautiful, clean and beds so comfy after a day walking the wall

What a nice hotel! We had a big room with very comfortable beds and everything was so very clean! There is everything you could possibly need (slippers, towels, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush, tv, air conditioner, umbrella, chairs to sit outside and even a heater in the bathroom). We had lots of lights from the windows on both sides. Just over the street you find a restaurant, we had dinner and breakfast there - good portions and very fair price! I recommend to try the braised eggplant, so delicious. But the best: the family who runs the hotel! Such helpful staff. The owner explained us how best explore the Great Wall on a map, picked us up when we were in the middle of heavy rain and when our train back to Beijing got cancelled, he helped us to organise a minivan. Very happy with this stay! Thank you very much!

Very clean and spacious rooms, we even got an upgrade for the room :) bathroom is sparkling clean and has a heating, perfect when you have to dry your clothes after heavy rain 😅 the owner speaks perfect english and helps with everything ☺️ he even picked us up when we got stuck because of the rain at the great wall :) good recommondations for dinner and beeakfast. a lot of good tips for hiking routes on the great wall. we even came back for a second night after we couldnt descend on the other side of the wall :) thank you for such a pleasant stay ☺️

Really fantastic place, great room, very spacious and super clean, great shower. The best about this place is really the owners whom were very helpfull and made all i had hoped for possible. Can not thank you enough. Will definetly return if im ever in the area again.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Muping Chaoxing Farmhouse! The host and his family are the kindest people, they helped us choose our hiking routes on the Wall, gave us great tips, and even organized our trip back to Beijing Airport. The host speaks English really, which made it easy to get around the village and organize everything. We had dinner at the restaurant across the street run by his brother, who cooked us delicious food. Because of my gluten allergy, he kindly prepared gluten-free meals for me and was very helpful in making sure I could enjoy the food without any problems. The guesthouse is about a 20-minute walk from the Wall entrance, but you can also take a shuttle bus if you prefer. Our room was very modern and extremely clean. We felt completely comfortable. We’d definitely stay here again and want to thank the owner and his family for the great time and their amazing hospitality!

This place was absolutely perfect! It has a great location close to the entrance of Jinshanling Great Wall, and both the guesthouse and its rural neighbouring farms give the stay a really cozy vibe. The room is great value for money, spacious and clean. The highlight of my stay was the owner, who really goes above and beyond for his guests. He helped me plan every part of my visit to the wall and helped me set up a customized route based on my preferences, including a hand-drawn map. I felt like really well-cared for as a solo traveller. The unlimited water and cheap taxi service he provided were added bonuses. I would greatly recommend this place to anyone who visits Jinshanling and will not hesitate to come back here in the future. Thank you!!!

Mr Cui and his wife were awesome hosts! Helpful advice- from transportation to advice on local restaurants, we were never disappointed.

It was the best apartment, which had during the whole our stay in China. It is very big, comfortable and very modernly equipped. There is also a garden, where you can sit and drink your tea. Location is excellent - directly at the road to the entry to the Great Wall.

We loved our stay! The hosts are very kind and helpful, plus they speak good english. Very interesting to talk with them about the local life. Rooms are basic but spacious enough and there’s everything you might need (kettle, water, slippers, etc). Location is very close to one of the main gates. You can walk to it if you want to. On top of that, when we came back from the hike, they let us shower while we waited for our train. No doubt, if we are ever back, we will be staying again here. Thanks for everything

No doubt the best accommodation option in whole Jingshanling. Clean, nice and affordable. The best thing however is the owner, the most helpful guy you will ever meet. He’s speaks excellent English and knows the best tips about the area. He will be happy to help you. During our stay, he helped us with planning and transportation, also explained some things about the wall and the area. Stay here is guaranteed 10/10 experience.

After being china for almost a month this was our absolute favourite place! The owner is so lovely and was very helpful with planning our visit to the wall in two different sections. The room was wonderful; we had a great view, the bed was comfortable and it was super clean. The restaurant across the road is also really yummy. Thank you so much!
