The old road is now a walking path that leads to the Lewis mountain multi use trail. Enjoy the beautiful views of the bay from the porch or living room while unwinding after a day of adventure.Cell phones do work there and it has high speed internet. Although it is encouraged that screen time be replaced with socializing, games, star gazing and good old fashioned getting outdoors. A short walk up the paved road is a lovely beach which is accessible through the Macleod pioneer cemetery. Including kayaking, restaurants, fishing and waterfalls. Things to note about the cabin. You can drive a vehicle right up to the door, but it is a bit steep and a little tight. But not to worry if you are uncomfortable with it, there is ample flat parking 50ft away.Due to its location and the ladder stairs leading to the loft, the cabin is not wheelchair accessible and anyone with mobility issues should also be aware of these obstacles.
