Dona Graca Lisbon Apartments

We absolutely loved DONA GRACA. Our apartment was stylish, had lots of space and was spotlessly clean. The daily delivery of breakfast was such a treat and was delicious. The garden and pool were a huge bonus and a great place to come back after sightseeing, or to lounge around in before heading off after a lazy start/morning. The location is perfect - close enough to everything, yet peaceful and quiet. Lots of great places to eat locally, plus some amazing street art in the area. Overall a superb stay and we would highly recommend Dona Graca for anyone staying in Lisbon.

WORST HOTEL IN LISBON!!! DO NOT STAY HERE! I was left stranded outside without money or my passport because they gave us a broken key. Left 30+ messages to the emergency number and never got a response. Hotel staff was extremely rude and has not answered to this day. The front desk said I would get a full refund but now they’re saying this never happened and still won’t answer. Completely ruined my trip and shocked at the level of pure disrespect this establishment showed it guests.

Celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, the wife and I wanted to visit a destination we'd never been. After discussing with her coworkers we decided on Lisbon, Portugal. At a lower price than a single hotel room, we chose this 1 BR apartment. And happy we did! Very clean and spacious. Kitchen includes a fridge, microwave, stove top, toaster and utensils. Get this, the fridge comes with butter, milk, yogurt, jams, ham and cheeses and water at no cost!!! Also, each morning, they place fresh made breads and pastries outside your door, no extra charge. Try getting that a a hotel. Dona Graca, the owner was the most gracious host. Before arriving I told him we were celebrating an anniversary. And.upon arriving there was sparkling wine and chocolate waiting in the room. (Not free) One night, we arrived back after dinner, I discovered I'd lost my apartment keys. I had to call Dona, and he had to drive front 30 minutes away to get us into our apartment. Tips: Uber is the best and cheapest means of getting around. Late Oct. Is the beginning of rainy season. Take rain wear. Dance clubs don't open until 11:30pm with long lines. Amx is not readily accepted. This time of year, the pool is cold. Cons: The units are not well installated. Could hear guest walking in the apartment upstairs. I do recommend this location!

Moro em Itália e estive em tour com alguns amigos que não falam português, então me mantive constantemente a falar em inglês no hotel onde tive a infelicidade de ouvir coisas horríveis sobre os hóspedes, sem que soubessem que eu percebia perfeitamente o que diziam. As fotos do local são lindas e aconchegantes, o ambiente do quarto é realmente grande, mas talvez pela alta temporada, pouco condizem com a realidade. Encontrei bastante sujidade, principalmente na casa de banho. Para estacionar o carro é necessário entrar numa rua escura e abandonada, com muito lixo pelo chão, onde os funcionários ficam sentados, talvez por falta de condições laborais que os permitam estar em algum conforto dentro das dependências do hotel, com um ar de medo o tempo todo. Durante as férias me hospedei em 8 hotéis diferentes e esse foi sem dúvida o pior deles, mesmo sem ser muito exigente. Um local que respeita pessoas, um duche bom e quarto sem percevejos já seria suficiente pra mim. Pelo menos o restaurante ao lado do hotel é ótimo e eu jamais teria conhecido se não fosse por essa hospedagem trágica.
