Staff are very friendly, location is convenient close to the night market. Breakfast is delicious, they also offer afternoon tea and night soup. Girls can try on Hanfu for free with an advance booking. When the weather suddenly turned colder, they provided charcoal stove for us to warm our hands.

This hotel--Mengjing Wangyue Courtyard Hotel (Kunming Nanping Pedestrian Street Jinma Bijifang Branch)--is situated among charming Chinese heritage sites, with traditional Chinese-style buildings surrounding it, including statues at the entrance that add to its cultural appeal. Although the reception advertises English-speaking staff, only the female manager (based on my observation) is quite fluent; other staff members have limited English skills but are friendly and polite. The breakfast offers a good variety and is delicious, and the room facilities are decent and satisfactory. However, travellers from Southeast Asia should note that bidets are not provided.
Overall, this cultural hotel is a 10/10—definitely worth a visit, especially for its fantastic location. Any minor drawbacks are easily outweighed by the excellent service and quality offered.

This hotel is located in a very cosy and quiet environment in Kunming city centre .
The surrounding is very much having ancient feeling and most importantly .
The hotel staff are very friendly and seduce was tit top.
It is a good location for meeting old friend and chatting with friends visiting .
If I return one day , this would be my first choice of stay .

We have a wonderful time stay here and the service is great.. give them a call when you arrive and they will come pick you up and help you with luggage and kids friendly too.. tea in the room, environment is clean and comfortable.. all the amenities are provided.. wonderful stay and value for money.. food is great too especially breakfast 过桥米线

The service of this hotel is really fantastic. The staff is really warm and friendly. The front desk staff recommended places of attraction and suggested good ways of travel in Kunming.
The rooms are very quiet and good. The hotel pays attention to details. It is a wonderful place of rest. My daughters have a great experience with Hanfu and photos. The hotel accommodated to my schedule, allowing delayed checkout.
The breakfast is delicious and the staff really make us feel at home. Highly recommended.
