Moon shine Courtyard Hotel (Kunming Nanping Pedestrian Street Jinma Bijifang Branch)

We had an excellent stay at this hotel and were thoroughly impressed by the outstanding service from the very first day. Every morning, we communicated our breakfast preferences to the concierge staff. During our nearly 6-night stay, we had the opportunity to try most items on their breakfast menu. The hotel’s location was ideal for exploring Kunming, with NanQiang streets, popular malls, cafes, and a canal for morning jogs, all within walking distance. We especially appreciate the team manager (a lady) who kindly offered a lunch option when we would miss our final breakfast due to our early departure. On our last morning, one of the intern - Ms. Long thoughtfully prepared a light breakfast for us to take to the airport. These thoughtful gestures really touched us. Each day, returning to the hotel felt like coming home after a day of exploring. This hotel truly deserves a full 5-star rating.

This hotel is simply unique. first of all the decor is beautiful, traditional chinese with a modern twist. The staff are extremely attentive and always helpful. They helped with any queries very quickly, attended to our laundry requests very quickly and never fails to serve up an awesome breakfast. OMG the breakfast - beats any 5 star hotel hands down. the simplicity and "home cooked" food is stunning. Then attention they put into it is outstanding. The rooms are very comfortable too - but because it is in a old building the walls are not too thick. I love the location. it is not in the central shopping and eating area but it is only about a 5 to 7 mins walk away. Around the hotel there is also plenty of good food. Highly recommended. I will be back.

Staff are very friendly, location is convenient close to the night market. Breakfast is delicious, they also offer afternoon tea and night soup. Girls can try on Hanfu for free with an advance booking. When the weather suddenly turned colder, they provided charcoal stove for us to warm our hands.

The room is very pretty, spacious and clean. The bed is the best part! It’s one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on during many trips in China. The breakfast is super delicious! I regretted that I overslept and missed one breakfast (because the bed was too comfy) 🤣

Staffs were extremely helpful. All day tea n coffee available. Easy access and near to many eateries. Hotel also serves breakfast, tea and supper whivh are all included in the room package. If you like to experience the courtyard type of stay, this would be the pick!
