The hotel was fantastic. Unique place where you can experience the traditional architecture. Decoration is lovely. I loved that the bathroom was outside (nobody will be able to see you and there are blinders) The location is the best. Great places to eat suitable for everyone (from fine dining to hawkers) PS: Cafe is really good.

Helpful check-in staff. Clean room, unique old nanyang style. Heartwarming free beverage per day. Excellent location with plenty of mouth-watering dishes at night. A great stay .

A hidden gem in Petaling Street! Beautiful, spotless rooms with a calm courtyard vibe right in the middle of Chinatown’s buzz. Perfect location, amazing staff, and thoughtful touches everywhere. Will definitely be back!

Interestingly furnished with a refreshing private patio for shower. On point with their traditional themed interior and very apt for its location in Chinatown - but be prepared that because of that it might not be as cosy as people expect. Slightly noisy given the bustling night activity but that is its advantage for sightseeing and good eats around. Room was well stocked with amenities, including a cute Chinese teapot set.

We had a great stay, excellent location in Chinatown, lots of good food around, very nice and distinctive rooms with an outdoor bathroom which was unique and pretty. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, would highly recommend for travelers looking for a boutique hotel away from the high rise hotels. Five stars all the way!!

The hotel and the cafe is cute and they maintain the old building pretty well I think. The hotel stuff members were helpful.

A niche hotel resembling the colonial era, with well refurbished rooms, large comfortable beds and peace and quiet in the hustle and bustle of Chinatown. No restaurant but surrounded by them of all types and prices. In-house coffee shop offers light food. Well situated to walk to the Bird / Butterfly parks, Independence square, etc. Also right next to a stop for the hoponhopoff bus - which I wouldn't recommend generally, but that's a different report. Friendly and helpful staff. I liked it and would return.

Overall an above average experience

Enjoy the old style Chinese hotel( bathroom and shower outside).No parking at hotel but down the street big lot($6usd per day)They don’t really have a hotel lobby but someone is around if you need help.Not a bad place enjoyed it.

A good location for an intimate experience in Chinatown. Hotel has a charming raw aesthetic and a peculiar room layout for a shophouse hotel. Street food is just right outside the hotel. A true oasis in chaotic Chinatown.
