Millerz Square @ Old Klang Road by Just Stay

I am a family traveler who booked a stay during Chinese New Year. Three days before check-in, customer service called and informed me that there was a double booking in their system. They offered me two options: 1. Accept their offer to move to Nidoz Residence. 2. Cancel the booking and receive a refund. Due to limited options and time constraints, I was forced to accept the first option, as we were traveling with kids, and finding an alternative within two days would be difficult. However, Nidoz Residence was far below standard, with a strong, unpleasant odor upon entering the unit and an overall dirty environment. Although the building was newly completed in 2019, its condition did not meet expectations. I'm sure their millerz residence would be up to the standard as I had stayed in that place for few times and satisfied but just the alternative need more improvement. P/S: I enclosed one of the collapsing curtains in one of the rooms, one of the few major problems with the unit

The original unit had a sudden blackout with no immediate solutions provided and had to try to call multiple times only to get a solution which they provided us with another unit. The unit in exchange turned out to be worse as the whole family members were bitten by bed bugs and dusts mites. Overall it’s a very bad experience.

The room was not clean upon checkin.  It was filthy and unsanitary.  Toiletries were half used & opened,  no toilet paper, glass table greasy, bath towels yellowish, dead flies in the washer cabinet and dust everywhere.  We had to stayed there for a night before they can assign new room the next day.  So we had no choice but spent few hours to sanitize before feeling a little comfortable.  We basically didn’t feel comfortable to shower and ended up no sleep.  A new room assigned next day but we found bags of garbage under the kitchen sink.  It was so smelly and they didn’t send housekeeping until the next day.  It was a little better than the first room but still the bedding and towels were awful, microfiber instead of cotton.  I paid higher price for the room due to Chinese new year holidays.  I had asked the hotel manager for partial reimbursement, not full.  She ignored me multiple times that I had asked.  We had a very bad experience at this stay.  I would recommend Millerez Square by MyKey Global as we had stayed there 1 night after Old Klang Road by Just Stay.  It was compared day to night.  Cost less with more rooms.  So clean with easy checkin, etc. Trip.com was very helpful and supportive which I truly appreciated.  The customer support team responded immediately and jumped in to help to resolve my issues.  Unfortunately ultimately the hotel manager needed to resolve.

the building is good and safe. convenient with mini groceries store below the room is clean EXCEPT for bedsheets. they smelt sour with sweat. pillow case had smell of cosmetics. reported to host that bedsheets were used but not changed. no action taken. disgusting
