The staff here was some of the friendliest we’ve come across in a long time! We stayed here for our one-night stop in Athens between flights. It’s *not* the most convenient location for either the airport nor downtown but it’s a near quiet neighborhood with restaurants and bars around. We also used the train to get down to the Acropolis - easy and inexpensive. The staff here was just amazing - so very friendly and ready to help with recommendations on everything from things to see, how to use public transit, and how to avoid taxi scams. As Bonvoy Platinum our room was upgraded to a Premium room with a large balcony and breakfast was included. Decent breakfast. Our room was a bit tired (wear on the carpets, door handles, etc) but spotless-clean with no stains or smells or anything like that. We visited in October so we didn’t use the pool but had a great view of it from our balcony. The pool area looked to have a cool design and vibe. Would visit again. Pros: - amazing staff - quirky hotel vibe and clean accommodations - clean quiet beautiful neighborhood - 15 min walk to train station (€1.20 to downtown) Cons: - rooms are a bit tired and ready for updates - 45-minute train ride to downtown - 30-minute cab ride to airport (€50)

Stayed here for 4 nights. I can’t fault the hotel. Firstly this is the first hotel I have ever stayed in that had great lightening and lots of lighting options in the room. Room service, all meals were delicious. Would highly recommend the chicken with burnt lemon sauce. Gym, well stocked and good range of machines and weights. Fabulous pool area, although I did not get chance to use it. But appreciated my view from room balcony. Would definitely recommend this hotel and I would not hesitate to stay here again,

The hotel staff were very helpful and generally the service levels were very good. Whatever we asked for was provided efficiently and with a smile. Faultless. The hotel amenities and pool area are contemporary and well appointed and again service is immaculate When we were leaving they accommodated out late departure gracefully The only criticism would be that the rooms are really small. Every convenience is available but the room itself is small. Other than that I’d recommend the hotel

The Semiramis was such a wonderful surprise! I've been to Athens many times, but brought my friend this time, who's never been. My friend's one requirement was a great pool area, so after searching all of the Marriott properties in the Athens area, I ended up selecting this one. From check-in to check-out and everything in between, this hotel proved to be excellent. The Semiramis is an unusual and eclectic hotel, but manages to feel high-end and stylish. If you stay here, you have to love pink! The incredible pool area was the highlight. There are so many places to lie out and plenty of opportunity to get sun or shade. William, the server, was absolutely amazing! He couldn't do enough for us and he was so sweet! We still talk about him and miss his kindness. There is also a great fitness center. It was surprisingly well-equipped for a hotel of this smaller size. Breakfast was included in my rate, but this was the only disappointment. The food was not very appetizing and there wasn't a varied selection. But breakfast was brightened up by the amazing William! Reception staff were all so kind and helpful. The rooms are fun and super comfortable. My room was immaculately clean and the cleaning lady was so lovely! The small balcony in even the basic room was very welcome. I really appreciated the wine and welcome note left for me by management. This hotel is located in Kifissia, which itself is a cute area to shop and eat. We went into Athens each night for dinner and it was a cheap and easy 20 minute Uber ride. This hotel is a great and affordable option for people who want to visit Athens, but not pay the exorbitant costs of the city hotels in the summer. I absolutely loved this hotel and will definitely be back.

The hotel staff is amazing and the location is gorgeous. The breakfast was pretty good. The rooms are old, worn down, and smell like mold. We moved rooms twice and each room smelled like mold. I don’t recommend this hotel until they do a massive renovation.
