The location of the lodge is wonderful, up on the Ugab river terraces. Also very nice the interior design of the room and restaurant area and a very professional and friendly staff.

Flat and level pitch for our vehicle with roof top tent. Private bathroom with an amazing shower and loads of hot water. The lizard living in the toilet made every trip to the loo a treat :-) Views from the lodge terrace are stunning and it's well worth sitting out and enjoying the birds. Great fun doing the zip line!

There are many great spots and lodges in Namibia. Ugab Terrace is surely one of them. What stands out at Ugab is the great service we have experienced. The staff must be able to read minds. We were asked if we want to stay outside for dinner, when she saw that we really enjoy the sunset and the quietness on the terrace. In the morning the other waitress saw we were watching animals while having coffee and approached the table without making the slightest noise in order to not disturb the animal. When we went for a walk the manager gave us a radio in case we would need help. The lodge itself sits on a mountain with a great view. The drive to the lodge is fun. Everything is clean. The food was great. The service is outstanding. My rating is 5 stars with an extra star for the staff.

Loved this place. Nice room, very clean. Nice little porch on each cottage with table and chairs. Pool was huge but a little cool. Food was excellent for dinner and breakfast the next day. What I really liked was that each little cottage was walled off and had a garden where vegetables were grown for the kitchen. Nice little touch that I had never seen before.

We've stayed here twice in 2024 - once in a chalet and once in the camp site. It is a beautiful place - the view is spectacular (one of the best anywhere in the world) and the lodge and its facilities have been thoughtfully built into the landscape. The staff are lovely, the food is good. It's a special place to enjoy this amazing valley from.

We used this lodge mainly as a stop in between Palmwag and the Etosha park, and were very pleasantly surprised to find such a beautiful accommodation in the most stunning location. Views are magnificent. From each of the chalets you have unobstructed views on the "monument valley" below (that's how it looks like), and if you don't mind doing a very short hike (5 minutes max) you get to a viewpoint that offers even more spectacular views. We managed to get there just before sunset and it was absolutely beautiful. In the morning, we spent an hour sitting on our own little porch, enjoying the cool morning air and the vista, before heading towards Etosha park, which can be easily reached after a 2.5 hour drive from Ugab Terrace. Dinner was great as well, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. All the staff were very welcoming and accommodating, happy to provide recommendations for our trip to Etosha.

Ugab Terrace is ideally situated to enjoy a spectacular view of the table mountains and the Rockfinger, especially at sunset. The accommodation is really top and so is the restaurant. The swimmingpool is spacious and its location top. Very friendly staff indeed.
