A great and elegant B&B/Gastro Pub in a historical town. Quiet and comfortable.
-breakfast was lacking somewhat (the continental part was very basic).
Staff were very friendly and attentive.

We stayed two nights here and are reviewing the hotel and breakfast. Really a very depressing experience: badly cooked breakfast served on stone-cold plates. Tiny room, greasy and dirty surfaces throughout. Missing staircase ‘nosing’ flagged with notices but really should simply have been fixed. Some managerial staff rude and unhelpful. Very poor indeed.

Had a wonderful evening celebrating my mother’s 80th Birthday at the Abbeyfield. I would highly recommend a visit. The food and the service was outstanding. Would just like to say a massive thank you to Nicki for making my mum feel so special and making sure we all had such a memorable evening. Nothing was too much trouble. We are all looking forward to returning soon.

Great food, great service and a quiet relaxing atmosphere. Air conditioning was a bit of a bonus on one of the hottest days of the year. Free 2 hrs parking nearby. Well done team Abbeyfields. Will be returning soon and will recommend to friends.

called in for a quick lunch, the restaurant/pub area was ok. We both chose the Cumberland Sausage and mash. It arrived in 3 minutes, not long enough for it to be cooked fresh and rightly so. The sausages were crisp on the outside and had probably been ok for breakfast, but they tasted like left-overs, re-heated in a microwave. Mash was so-so and for £14.29 each, the whole meal was way overpriced for the poor quality.

Since I discovered this little gem of a hotel, I never go anywhere else when visiting the area on business! The rooms are clean and pleasant and the bar is a delight. The food is always good pub fare but best of all is the atmosphere, thanks to a lovely group of staff who are always welcoming and accommodating. Special shout out to Connor at the bar who goes above and beyond to make his customers happy! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Had a meal here last Tuesday. The menu is traditional pub grub. Unfortunately there was no chef and the manager was doing the cooking. But even though a reduced menu. It was good pub grub. Certainly recommend the steak pie. The fish and chips were tasty and well presented. Had bread and butter and this gave some scampi tails to go with the fish. The staff were all friendly and helpful

This is a really lovely hotel just outside of the town of Kenilworth. It is a five to ten minute walk across a park to get to the town centre. The bedroom was clean and well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board and toiletries. I had a room at the side of the building and it was quiet even with the window open. The bed was comfortable and both the bedroom and bathroom were cleaned to a high standard. A lovely breakfast was included and there was always plenty available. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely book again if I return to Kenilworth.

We stayed 2 nights, we were attending a medieval event at Kenilworth Castle. We chose the hotel due to its nearness to the castle (about 3mins in car and about 15mins on foot). So glad we did. Staff are lovely, very friendly yet professional. Room and bathroom spotless, shower very good and hot. Bed very comfortable and room had all we needed. Breakfast fantastic. Gorgeous fluffy pancakes with generous helpings of bacon and maple syrup. Husband had full English and it was so huge he struggled to finish! And quality of sausages, bacon etc very good. We also had dinner here on one night. My sea bass was great, and husbands steak was spot on. Again, very generous portions and good quality ingredients. Unfortunately, couldn't manage a pudding but they sounded good. We will definitely stay again.
