Strange Resort & Spa Kansai Airport (Senshu Onsen)

The experience at this hotel is extremely interesting. The concierge were AI dragons which provide an automated check in for residents. However it is a bit far from the train station, and there is not any shuttle bus to the outlet nearby and Kansai airport, which is the only point that I think this hotel is not good enough. Overall the accommodation experience is good.

The room was perfectly clean, we had a seaview room. It was spacious for a twin pax. I loved the Hotspring which I used twice a day. Breakfast was a type of Japanese style. The entrance was cool, like gg into a jungle being served by a dinosaur 🦕 robot. However we need to walk around 15 mins to the outlet.

Very convenient hotel. 650m from train station. Easy to walk with suitcases. Beds are comfortable, shower is bigger than it looks. We checken in late and used self check in where helped by 2 dinosaur. Was not expecting that! Theres a spa too but it’s not tattoo friendly. Breakfast was ok. This is a really great hotel especially if you’re coming from the airport.

The room was overlooking the water and the walking path. The room was on the smaller side but not excessively so. There were amenities in the room including PJs and slippers and even a foot massager. The greeting party was some animatronic dinosaurs that checked you in with a machine. There was a breakfast which was good. There was a onsen on site. It said no tattoos, but I was still able to go because no one noticed, nor could communicate with me to kick me out. Getting into the onsen was tricky. The workers were like, follow the directions, but the directions were not clear. Finally they walked me to the right place to get the ticket to enter. The onsen is only a washing area, one hot pool and a second pool. It was basic.

I booked this hotel because of the in room view which is infinity sea view. But I really disappointed by the unprofessional staff which make me won’t book this hotel again anymore!! We arrived at the hotel around 9pm. The check in process is self service which is fine for me. But it stopped in the half way and it show service error on the machine, then I called the staff and told her the problem and asked her to come out and help. She just keep asking me the name and did I finish the check in without listening to me then just hang up the phone. Then she came out to the machine and see what’s going on. She didn’t talk to me and just try to fix the machine which is ok for me as long as she fixed the problem. Then she printed 4 receipts which belongs to me but she only gave me 3 instead of 4. Then I asked her for the last receipt which printed my name on it. But she insists that is not for me and doesn’t want to give it back to me. I told her that’s my payment receipt which I need it back. But she didn’t talk or look at me and just ignore me. After she talked to the other staff, she gave me back the receipt with her long face and impatient attitude without any apology. I don’t know if I bother her at 9pm or what. But there is a problem during check in, she need to solve the problem the customer!! And I found it’s not acceptable for her attitude and she gave me a long face!!! Even I want to ask her about the parking. She just pointing to the parking machine without saying anything and showing her inpatient attitude. Because of this bad experience, I won’t book this hotel again and won’t recommend others to book as well.

Room is very small and dark. Breakfast is ok. The hot spring is nice.

Hotel is reasonably well maintained and clean., While it is understandable that contactless self check in procedure is the thing moving forward, the computer screen for self check in certainly does.NOT appreciate or recognise what is MIDDLE name. To improve self check in process, please have proper instruction for guests with MIDDLE. Staff service - lots of room for improvement.

We stayed for a night. It was amazing, it was clean. The facilities were near and easy to use. Only wished they had a water refill station. We had to purchase multiple bottles of water.

Very unique and comfortable hotel in Rinku and Kansai airport area. First attractive staffs are the Dino. Amenities in room are enough. Pyjamas and some amenities are provided in the lobby for guests to pick up. Another plus point here are the public bath and commom leisure area with tons of comic books, shop and foods, phiten capsule, etc. Room size is good for average in Japan. We stayed in Robohon room and that was fun to play and let Robohon dance lol. Overall we really like our stay here and maybe back again if visit this area.
