대체적으로 시설을 리모델링하여서 깨끗했고, 위치가 좋은 편이어서 편안하게 하루 쉬었다가 왔습니다. 주변에 식당가와 상가들이 많인서 식당을 마음껏 선택할수 있었고, 바닷가와도 가까워서 도보로 약 10분 정도면 시원하고 아름다운 풍경을 볼수가 있습니다.

Do yourself a favour and do not stay in this hotel. The customer service is way below satisfactory. My stay at this hotel has been unacceptable. The conditions were far below standard. the hotel has a persistent bad odour. They said a tech would come fix the issue, which did not happen. the service is unresponsive (waiting over 40 minutes for basic requests), and communication was incredibly difficult. There was a loud noise coming from the washroom along the disgusting smell that does not allow you to get a good night sleep. Despite bringing this to the attention of the hotel staff, no adequate resolution was provided. My stay was so bad that I had to check out early due to these conditions and I was denied speaking with the manager to receive a refund for the following days. Terrible hotel, terrible service and staff, overall terrible experience.

I booked this hotel after a very bad experience with the originally booked one a few meters away for my visit in Turkey. I called them to request a quiet, nice room as I was after surgery. Honestly, I had a pleasant stay, everything was clean and nice, the room was quiet and spacious. They allowed late check out due to my transfer to the hospital. Breakfast was delicious. All staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the young man on reception, Ahmed! This is Turkish hospitality, outstanding! Thank you, see you soon!

Very clean hotel. All of the staff were friendly. This was booked with friends for a football trip. Close to plenty of shops and a short walk to the marina. Good variety of food for breakfast. All in all the hotel was perfect for my needs and very good value

A nice, clean and friendly place. Close to many shopping centres, restaurants and the Metro station. The prices are relatively cheap compared to other hotels with the same standard, around 60$ per night including breakfast. The single rooms are very comfortable and wide with more than 25 square metres. A fridge, kettle, coffee and tea included in the rooms.

I need to say clearly that the stars of hotels in Istanbul are different from other cities in the world, and in my opinion, you should subtract one star from its star by default and then judge it. In short, I must say that this hotel is a 3-star hotel, not a 4-star hotel! I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and 5 days with my family of 4 people. Based on this, the pros and cons of this hotel in my opinion are as follows: Positive points: The staff is very respectful and friendly, the lobby and the general area of the hotel are clean and tidy. It has very good access to local markets and two shopping malls and also less than 6 minutes to Marmaray Metro. The room and environment of the hotel is very relaxing and without disturbing noise. Negative points: 4 beds were registered for us in the hotel voucher, but one of the beds was a couch. The deluxe family room that was delivered to us was not clean, the wooden parquet floor was so dirty that it was impossible to do without slippers. The room service was only for 3 people when we complained and they corrected it. The hotel staff were upset that we complained about the cleanliness there! The bathroom and toilet were very cold and the heating equipment was inactive during our stay. Every night, it was the shift of one of the staff for the reception department, and our complaints and criticisms were not transferred to the next person, and in the first days we had to complain about the cleaning of the room every time, but we got tired and gave up on the third day. The breakfast menu is very concise and useful. In the pictures of the hotel, only the facade of the building is shown, but in front of the hotel there is an empty lot and a building under construction, which leaves no attraction for viewing the outside. Bakirkoy area was an interesting neighborhood, but I will never return to this hotel.

I have just returned from Istanbul where I went for health reasons. Having initially been allocated to a very low quality hotel eventually I got moved by the clinic to Merlin Hotel and I couldn't be happier! From the moment we walked through the lobby there was smiles from the staff present, always very attentious considering I had been through a surgery. While the person in charge was checking other guests in, his colleague made sure me and my mother who was accompanying me had a drink and were comfortable. The check-in was quite speedy and we were directed to our room, where a member of staff brought the bags and showed us how to work the AC and also gave us the Wi-Fi password. The room itself was very clean, comfortable and quite big too! Throughout my stay the standard remained, with the lady who cleaned the room always giving us a smile whenever we walked past her on the corridors. On the day of check-out, they kindly kept our bags stored while we went out to get some last minute souvenirs too. I can highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again on future visits to Istanbul. Thank you to Dōqukan, Samet and Nazira to making us feel home and welcome.

They canceled reservation 2 hourse before check in time! We have already been on our way. After 10 hours of trip we had to find another hotel. They said that system of reservation made a mistake, another people already occupied the room. Avoid this hotel! Very unprofessional.

Nice hotel. Very good location. The rooms were clean and the staff very welcoming. The manager was very friendly. Despite the fact there was road works around it didn’t bother. Hotel nicely surrounded you can walk walking around especially at night where it’s quite alive.
